I cannot rave enough about my team's experience at McGarvey's with our fantastic waitress Rose. Her attention to detail was impeccable, and in my experience, unmatched by most in the restaurant industry. She ensured that soups arrived before the main course and never missed a beat ensuring beverages were always flowing. This experience from walking in the door could not have been better. I will always return to McGarvey's and encourage everyone to do the same. There's a couple more things worth mentioning: I called the restaurant to make a reservation, and the hostess Peighton explained that they don't do reservations but assured me that she would find something perfect for my group if I called her about 20 minutes before arriving. Upon arrival, she happily sat all of us in one of the best locations in the restaurant. After dinner, I decided to have one more drink at the bar since the atmosphere was so perfect. To my surprise, the manager Forest introduced himself and thanked me for bringing my team of 5 in for dinner. We weren't a huge group, and that's what stuck out the most. When a manager cares for even the smaller group, that's when you know they deserve that title. Thanks Forest! You have a great team!

Went here after an event at the Academy. We ordered late night snacks including the shrimp tacos that were excellent.
Went for a surprise party where a friended texted out a room. Great bartenders and food for an overall fun event. Food ( buffet) was upstairs while the main party was downstairs. Bathrooms were up a different set of stairs. Strange layout but the food was delicious and drinks service was good.
Nice ambiance and friendly staff. Nice menu selections and tasty food. Their salad was fresh and the meatloaf was excellent. Can’t go wrong here.
Enjoyed a couple drinks at McGarvey's. The seafood smelled good, but we didn't order any food. What I loved the most was the aviation themed decor, large tree in the second room and plaques at the bar (signifying married couples that met there).
My husband and I went out for a nice dinner. We have been to McGarvey’s numerous times but we have never sat in the back room. It was beautiful back there with a tree in the middle of the room. And our server, Jasmine, made our night out fabulous. She was personable, accommodating and a pleasure to talk to. She made wonderful recommendations, all the food we had was great. She kept checking on us to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. It was so nice to have great customer service and attention to detail. Highly recommend going to dinner here and sitting with Jasmine.
Our bartender Devin was EXTREMELY knowledgeable, friendly, and competent. We stayed for an extra drink after lunch because he was so pleasant, and mixes a perfect drink. We will be back really soon!
$1 oysters can’t beat the price! Service is friendly and attentive. Oysters for the win for a perfect midday snack in Annapolis!
