We went and was very excited to try. We got 2 lobster rolls and 2 waters and it was almost $50. Each of our sandwiches were small and had 4 pieces of lobster in each. Not really worth the money. The girl and guy working the counter looked really miserable and were just staring at us as we ate, very awkward. Would not go again. There’s way better options in Annapolis, skip this place.
This place wasn’t hyped up to be what people made it seemed ,definitely not worth $18 . I didn’t feel welcomed at all when I walked in one of the employees basically threw my bag to at me with a dirty look . Definitely my 1st & last going to this spot when I visit again .
As a seafood lover who frequents Cape Cod several times a year, I think I am qualified to say these are amazing rolls. Husband got the original and I got the lobster salad. We also got the clam chowder. We were both incredibly impressed with the chowder and the rolls. We are so excited to see there is a franchise in our homestate & we will definitely be making a trip down there to hold us over 'til the next time we're back in Annapolis.
My first time to this tiny lobster shop on Annapolis's busy, touristy, main street... and I found my lobster roll to be delicious! But don't think this is anything more than a tiny, no-frills, noisy little counter service hole-in-the-wall. They basically offer ONE thing - and that is very tasty lobster rolls with chips or potato salad. The main fun here is sitting near the window watching the many people walking by - you will likely see uniformed midshipmen from the nearby Naval Academy, and suited politicians from the Maryland State House just up the street.
Oh my gosh SO GOOD! I had the classic Maine lobster roll and it was PERFECT. I read their lobster comes straight from Portland, ME. if you're craving a dish from your Maine summers...this is the place!
Really solid lobster rolls. Incredibly friendly staff and great service. I also had the clam chowder - best I've had in years! Parking can be tricky, but the food is a great reward. In the historical section of Annapolis, steps from the Church Circle.
I was taken aback by the size, as this was my first ever lobster roll (I got the Connecticut roll, warm and butter in the same sentence is all I needed to see). Yes, it's smaller than you might expect, but it's jam packed and the roll is just right. Crunchy out the outside. Added a cup of lobster bisque and I have to admit, it filled me up. Prices are high now because of everything going on, or at least that's their excuse, but I think it was worth it. I probably won't be back often, but I will be back.
Good food, horrible serviceIf you have 1hr+ to waste for a "sandwich" then go for itExplicitly asked for a warm roll, the guy said "ok" and got a cold one 40+ min later.Ordered a roll and a bisque, got the roll 40+ min later, no bisque. Asked for the bisque...the guy said "ok"...5 min later still no bisque
This is my second time here. The lobster roll is excellent. Both times the person taking orders has been unfriendly and acted annoyed at my questions about the menu. I would still come back for the sandwich (which is pricey) but don’t expect a friendly atmosphere.
Lobster meat was just tips of claw fat and crumbled bits of dry lobster meat. Worst lobster roll ever from here It tasted old too shame on your store for selling this to people. We buy these as a treat occasionally but not often because they are so expensive. Will not be ordering from your place in the future.
