Very spacious diner with lots of parking and easy to get to. The service was friendly and engaged. The food came out as ordered and expeditiously. They were able to accommodate our group of 11.Good vegetarian options, but no strictly vegan options.I got the Athenian Melt without the gyro. It could’ve been more melted, but it was still very tasty.Top notch tater tots! The smoothie was average. Would’ve been better with frozen mangoes instead of ice and things like orange juice and yogurt. It would made for a smoother taste profile. The check out process is nice and I liked that we could do separate checks even for a large table.I can’t wait to try my cake later! I got the white chocolate mouse ?
A dinner with an extensive menu. I got the pork chops and was asked how I want them cooked. I thought there was only one cook for pork chops - done. I said medium well. So they were a little under done near the bone. Didn't matter though, cause I only pick up the bone and gnaw on it caveman style when I'm at home. It's the only was to get this parts in the curves, and they are usually the best parts. My mom's friend had a big family and when she made pork chops for them she cut out that big circle part for them and just have the bone parts for herself. The kids thought she was sacrificing while she was getting the best part of ALL the chops - genius.Anyway, they have big, fat steak fries cooked exactly as you expect a dinner to cook them - no fancy seasoning, no matter type crispness on the outside, just plain old American French fries. The break cane with soup AND salad, which is rare. They give you nice big slices of raw onion and green pepper on top. I don't care for either, so I wish they would tell you that so you can say 'no thanks'. I hate to waste like that. I selected the chicken noodle soup over matzo ball soup (whatever that is) split pea (yuck) and vegetable (why bother?). The small cup was jam packed with noodles and chicken and was delicious. They guy who helped me wasn't surly, but he wasn't particularly friendly either. It was in the late evening though, so I chalked it up to a long day. They have an amazing dessert selection, but as usual, I ate all of my dinner and was too full for dessert. The pictures are my entree and one of the desert cases (the other held full cakes).
Well, it's a diner. The service is almost always good. The food is AT LEAST four star compared to other diners. I'm not really a dessert guy, but visually at least, their deserts look world-class. Portions tend to be generous. The wait staff is Pleasant even when they're busy, which is really saying something. Either they have great management or someone beating them with a bullwhip until their morale improves. I'm going to go with great management. It's hard to do better than Double T Diner for breakfast or a late night meal.
Our group had a birthday party for 20+ people and they were able to accommodate and seat us all at the last minute. The food was great, our server Antonio was very helpful and attentive to our needs given all the people he had to take care of. All of the other employees were friendly, we were all full and had some of us lived closer we would definitely return time and time again. I highly recommend them. They even serve alcohol and tons of delicious desserts as well.
Fast service, clean, large portions.
Two friends and I tried it for early dinner. Ut was crowded but got seated right away. Waitress came quickly. She was great. Answered questions and made suggestions. A big menu. Prices were pretty standard for a diner. I frequent diners quite often but this diner gives a LOT of food. We had baked chicken, fried chicken and tuna melt. All was very good. Only complaint is french fries were asked to be crispy but they were barely done and Luke warm. We will definitely go back when in the area.
They have the best Jumbo Crab Imperial! Love the mustard sauce on top. And it's huge! I can usually get three meals out of this dish. Always too much food and end up taking alot of it to go. Highly recommend! Plus our waitress Julie was excellent!
We had talked all week about a flame cooked premium steak with a baked potato. The reviews of nearby steakhouses were spotty so we decided to do something else. Remembering that I had noticed steaks on their menu a long time ago, with great trepidation, we ordered their 16 oz. sirloin and a baked potato for takeaway. The steak was lean, tender, and cooked to perfection (medium rare) without any seasonings added: just the way we like them! And, oh my, the baked potato was perfect, not over cooked as it is often served. The only reason they don't get 5 stars was that the house salad was ordinary iceberg lettuce with a big slab of red onion and came with the incorrect dressing. For sure when we have a hankering for another steak, this will be our steakhouse! Of course, they also have the best Chesapeake crab soup in the area but that's for another dinner.
Great variety ! Just get the lamb gyros , fried mac and cheese app is super delicious and they have the best french onion soup. Also the coffee!! Oh man a must get is the coffee casablanca! Great service will be back.
The food was tasty but didn't seem as good as the last time I was there. The waitress was very attentive.
