What a fun place! Today was my first time as I’m new to the area, and I think I found my new favorite. Comfortable atmosphere, fun selection of bakes, simple but smart coffee and tea offerings. Barista was friendly and helpful - she says the gluten free options are even better than the regular ones! Try the triple berry muffin (GF) and London Fog tea latte for an afternoon pick-me-up. Even the bathroom were well cared for, but I do have one suggestion for the owners: give us a hook on the back of the door, please!
Their baked goods are incredible. They’re made fresh in-house and you can tell. Everybody is friendly. It’s a good place to work for a couple hours or meet a friend.
Just passed the Graduate Hotel in Annapolis' art district is a little coffee shop recommended by a few friends who live in Annapolis. Here's my experience going with my four-year-old daughter:1) Coffee: They have a full coffee menu. I ordered a vanilla latte and it was very tasty and well brewed- nice and creamy.2) Food: They have several pastry options. My ordered the banana nut muffin and I the coffee cake. Both were tasty, but the coffee cake takes...well...the cake. The texture was spot on with a strip of gooey coffee/cinnamon in the middle.3) Space: It's small, but they make good use of the space. There are plenty of tables along the sides of the space with outlets. They also have two bathrooms in the back.4) Service: Staff were attentive and friendly and even brought our food to our table.
We came in on a Saturday date night and had a great time! We shared a spice cake and a couple glasses of the recommended wine pairing. The cake was delicious and perfectly paired with the wine, which was so good we bought a bottle to take home. The atmosphere is great - incredibly clean, friendly staff, high end and thoughtfully chosen glasses and dinnerware. I expect to be going many more times in the future!
Totally, totally awesome place.The drinks were very tasty but it was the range of cakes which made me go back.Lovely atmosphere. I was totally at ease being on my own and reading my book.Clearly popular with the locals. Lots of people had ordered cakes for Thanksgiving and were collecting from them while I was there.Would definitely recommend (but quietly so there's space for me next time I visit).
Overpriced and aloof. I won't return. I will also be surprised if it is here the next time I drive by. The barrista was too cool to be troubled. However he did make a fancy milk design. So there is that....
Curate Annapolis is amazing !! Really delicious scones, great coffee, and the ambiance is perfect. Really beautiful space. The berry parfaits are so so good. Definitely recommend and we will be back!!
Outstanding new addition to West street. They are slowly expanding their menu as they go along. During the day it's coffee and pastries. At night it was wine and small Mediterranean based plates. The wine selection was diverse. I tried a Serbian wine as if I'd never had one before and it was excellent. Service was very attentive. They do have a few tables inside as well as on the sidewalk. Looking forward to the evolution of Curate.
