We came here to celebrate my mom‘s birthday and the reservation was noted the same. The restaurant was not full nor did the restaurant look short staffed. The service was among the worst I’ve ever had anywhere. We ordered four appetizers and we’re given two small plates that were dirty. We had to flag down the waiter to ask for new ones and then we waited and waited and waited. At one point the waiter came back and asked us “what did you need, I was at the other table for so long I forgot”. The lamb appetizer was outstanding, the shrimp very average and small shrimp, the empanadas were not good… They just tasted like the breading. Then the scallops, they were completely raw on the inside. I cook them at home and I’m very familiar what they should look and taste like. By the time the waiter came back, it just wasn’t worth waiting for a new order. No dessert menu was offered. Instead I gave him my credit card and then we waited, waited, and waited for him to come back with the check. The setting is gorgeous but the food is below average and the service is horrible. I such a disappointment for my mom‘s special birthday. We came back to our Airbnb and had leftovers from the night before.
Wonderful lunch on the patio. Food was delicious! We had the empanadas, cioppino and the shrimp & pasta. All were excellent ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Service was 3.5 Our server(Jay) was efficient but not engaging/friendly. No mention of the daily specials (heard them from the server at the next table). No “thank you for dining with us” or any sort of send off.
Get your Google map ready.This restaurant is the local's treasure.The parking lot is a little tight, and if you are not familiar with the area, you will miss a must enjoy restaurant.The photo provided shows you the view from our table.The food is fantastic, real fresh food, NOT frozen , then zapped in the microwave.Seafood yummy.We had cream of crab soup and a crab cake, it was lunch time.Superb service, superb food and a truly lovely dining experience.
They accommodated our large family group accompanying our father/grandfather to his USNA reunion with a large table overlooking the water. The food was excellent as was the service, and they were very patient as we took our sweet time ordering, eating and drinking. A wonderful evening.
This slightly hidden away café overlooks Spa Creek, marina and bridge towards the academy, very pleasant vista. Inside feels more like a restaurant than the Café title would suggest. Lovely menu, local seafood choices and service (Jonny especially) was excellent. Had a great seafood pasta and shrimp croissant. On the expensive side but great quality.
We were visiting Annapolis for our anniversary. We made a reservation here for a late lunch before heading home. I had the seared scallops and my husband had the rockfish. Both dishes were delicious. We shared the espresso crème brûlée, yum! Our waitress was so nice.
We visited Williamsburg and Annapolis and dined here on our last night. It was the best meal of our trip. We had the crab cakes and the rockfish. Simply prepared and totally delicious. The service was excellent too. Perfect dessert of ice cream. Make a reservation - you won't regret it.
From the moment we walked in, everything was great! Our server John was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. The manager Lexi also stopped by our table to check on us, and also was very friendly. All of the food here was GREAT! Some of the things we got were Oysters, Shrimp & Grits, Crab Cakes & Rockfish and we loved it all! It was so nice being able to have a nice restaurant experience on our date night because we haven’t had that probably since Covid started. We will definitely be coming back here!
Everything was delicious! Appetizers, entree and dessert were unforgettably good! By God's grace, we will be going back
We had lunch during the restaurant week wherein we ordered the two course meal. The salmon was bland but the fresh salad tasted good. The shrimp was ok. The waiter who assisted us wasn’t so attentive and only took our order and served our food. He didn’t check if food is ok. Food is average and good customer service is lacking. The view from the restaurant is nice though. I won’t rush on coming back in this restaurant.
