This was the best crab meat I've bought in line. The crab was so fresh. The whole experience was fabulous. Overnight shipping and packing materials were excellent. SoPo had a great website that made ordering easy. And shopping was free by ordering $200 worth in my area.Prices are fair. Quality too is top notchWe also ordered lobster meat which also is tasty.The crab containers, 8 oz, are perfect for a meal for two. Sometimes we put it on salads, sometimes we make open face sandwiches. We ordered 8 containers. I take one out of the freezer each week for use.Thank you SoPo
The place was tucked away and quiant with a large bar and seafood counter in the center. Seafood was very fresh and everything we tasted I would get again. Great date night place without breaking the bank.

This review is overdue. What a great raw bar and fish market! Their other menu items are wonderful as well. Found them on the Maine Oyster Trail site last month when my husband had an urge for lunch in Portland. (We live in Central MA). Besides a couple dozen lip smacking briny beauties we tried some of their various "spoons", some chowder, scallop cerviche, and a caviar tasting. Wasn't sure I would like the sea urchin but it was just wonderful the way it was presented on 1 of the spoons. We also were able to buy some Nantucket bay scallops (seafood candy!) As they have a Cape Cod connection. That was a really pleasant surprise. We also bought some day boat scallops and some flounder for home. Such a great market! The service was outstanding as well. Can't wait to go again
AMAZING! This place should get 10 stars. The lobster roll was on point, and the chowder was brilliant. I hate seafood and only eat it because my wife loves it. This place changed my mind, I love the seafood at SoPo! We’ll definitely be back again and again. Also, the staff are the friendliest people you could meet, great great people. We loved the food so much we ordered extra to take home.
