Beautiful fresh food at the cafe. Best place to catch up with friends old and new!
Came to Portland today to do a college visit at MECA, my mom and I wanted to check out some yarn stores, and found this absolute gem! We had no idea what to expect but loved this place! Lisa, the owner, is so charismatic and sweet, that we bought some yarn, sat down, had some drinks, and talked for hours! I can’t recommend this place enough!
Going to the Nook is being at home. So relaxing and cozy. Lisa always so interesting to talk with, her salads are magnetic (meaning you will be drawn back to them), and her home made refrigerator pickles will make you salivate. The beer is nice and cold and wine bottle always open. Koko Keller
What a gem!! Wonderful atmosphere, eats, and drinks! I am not a knitter, but thoroughly enjoyed the time spent here!!
Great sandwiches. Everything was fresh and local. Staff extremely friendly and welcoming. Would totally come back.
Lisa is simply the BEST! If she doesn't have it you don't need it!
I love the Knitting Nook so much! It’s most friendly knitting store I’ve ever been to. Great sense of community, great vibes, very beginner friendly. A true gem for the neighborhood.
Lisa (the owner) is what makes the knitting community so great. I always come in a little embarrassed that I don't understand yarn weights or if I'm not sure how to make adjustments for a project, but Lisa is SO HELPFUL and also the biggest hype woman. This spot is all about community, and it's a must-shop stop.

This is such a wonderful place! The food is always fresh and very tasty. Lisa has done an incredible job with this spot, and everyone should stop by to support her!
