One of the best restaurants I've been to in years, puts many places in bigger cities to shame. Cocktails were amazing and the bartenders skill levels were impressive, putting out beautiful craft cocktails at impressive speeds. The food was also amazing even though we only shared a few small plates, the burrata was delicious and my wife had the best meatballs she's ever had. Amazing atmosphere, beautiful building, friendly staff, really the complete package.
Venue was romantic & well designed for any occasion. Service from beginning to end was superb!!!! Food was catered as a fine dining experience- strong flavors, beautiful presentation & pretty tasty drinks!!! Will be definitely return ♥️
Fine Italian dining in a classic looking ivy covered building. Two floors of seating and multiple bars if I remember correctly, well trained wait staff and lowered lighting-perfect. For some reason the menu on this particular day left me a bit wanting; nothing really stood out for me as the "oh yeah I'm having that" dish. And an odd exchange with our waitress when my mom who is eighty wanted spaghetti and meatballs. Meatballs as a app were on the menu, and spaghetti on another dish, but she hesitated asking the chef to prepare it. In the end the chef put them together, although it ended up being the most expensive entre of the 5 we ordered; the server commented that the reason we got it was the second chef was there, and that the head chef wouldn't have accommodated this simple request. I don't pretend to know the complexities of running a restaurant, but this says pretentious to me.
Top notch in every way. From the moment you step inside you are welcomed in to an exceptional atmosphere where even with a full house, you can have a relaxed conversation. Carefully curated decor is a feast to the eye and takes you on a charming, old world escape in utter comfort.Service is delightful, with in-depth knowledge of the complete menu offering unique pairings with something to suit every taste whether choosing small plates, pizzette, pasta, sides (also wonderful as appetizers) dessert or all of the above. The atmosphere, the drinks, the food and the service were all outstanding. Especially for the pricing, which we thought was very reasonable.I had the risotto, which was light and exquisite, and an old fashion with Makers bourbon. They have a pretty extensive list of liquors for one to choose from.The only aspect I would change is how loud it can get; the acoustics of the place are not great for conversation.
Short rib ravioli with mushrooms and crispy kale was one of the best meals I have ever eaten. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening!
A fun experience - the green velvet seating just makes it extra ~classy~The food is yummy and portions are European style and sized (I personally prefer that). Specials are always available and a nice menu addition. If you’re looking for a date night or something a little elevated, it’s the place to go. The building itself is just beautiful too!
Great for cocktails, apps, and/or dinner! The drinks are all very good. They do come with NY prices but most of the drinks are worth it! The appetizers were great, the cheese and meat plate is perfect if you're just going for cocktails and looking for a bite.We came back the next day for the full dinner and it was also very delicious. The pasta is a rotating menu so you may not get what you see online but they are all tasty no matter which you end up choosing. The staff are awesome and the overall vibe is swanky.
The decor is so romantic and beautiful! we went for Valentine's dinner (3 weeks advance reserve) and it didn't disappoint us. My pasta was just perfect, tasty, and a great portion! the ossobuco was very good and abundant too (maybe a little expensive about 50us).
Beautiful "old world " restaurant. We sat at the bar.. attention and service were both excellent...as was our appetizer and dessert! Nice presentation to our entrees but tasteless and forgettable. We will be back to enjoy watching the bartender doing a wonderful job!
