We stopped here for the first time on Saturday, 6/18. We were seated right away. The staff was prompt and friendly. We just had appetizers, no alcoholic beverages. Have you ever heard of a jumbo pretzel charcuterie board?! We haven’t and it was fun and delicious. We also had chili nachos which were delicious. The onions rings were ok. If you like thick rings, you’ll like. We’ll be back next time we’re in Portland.
Try the local beers. Lobster roll, Mac n cheese is gooey and adding the pulled pork to it was amazing.
Nice pub vibe, Pinot Grigio was great quality and food was really good. Portions not crazy big, but just right. Bartender was ver nice and they give 20 percent discount for first responders. Will come back when in Portland again.
Our diner was super!One of the few places was opened on Sunday after 8pm. All dishes were good.We ordered clam chauder and new england chauder. Soups were good but cups were bit small. Avocado salad was big and great. Fish and chips was fresh and teasty. Scallops in bacon ( 5 pieces)were bit salty for me but good for beer.druft cider were excellent!
Definitely not as good as I remember from 10 years ago. They had no lobster for rolls. Chowder was meh. Nachos meh. Beer was warm. Bartender unattentive. Sad to say they've gone downhill. ?
Just an amazing place.Large selection of local and new england brews. Great, fun, service by a young and vibrant staff.The food was delicious and the atmosphere was social and light, reminds me of the TV show "Cheers" fun, lighthearted and everyone welcomed.Thank you for a great experience Deweys.Recommend taking an Uber or walking, parking in the Old Port area can be toughI'll be back boys, keep my manic blueberry on ice...
Nachos were good, spread flat with lots of cheese ? ? Drinks were fine and the menu is robust. Overall a good place to socialize and have a bite. Lots of different personalities there.
I love bars like this. Casual, good music, interesting mix of patrons, a little of a wild west atmosphere. The food is very good for the type of place. Usually bars like these have nachos, wings, things like that. The menu had a big selection of finger foods, great sandwiches and a lot more. There will be something on the menu for everyone. Totally recommended!

Love Deweys. We went for their $20 Pub Steak special. It does not quite look like what they show online, and the cook was above the Rare level we asked for, but it was a good deal at $20. Definitely worth stopping by for some brews, free popcorn for munching, and the steak while the deal is running. Their Mug Club is being pushed hard this year. It’s a good deal for folks that come often! Consider it! The popcorn is s good pub marketing move. The salty, crunch keeps you drinking! Ha! All the staff were friendly. Service was average or above. Friendliness was excellent though. I greatly appreciated the bathrooms. It’s always disappointing to see a business not care about their facilities. That’s typical of bars….but not this one! Thanks a lot 3DDs! We’ll be back like always!
