Make no mistake, there are a lot of great breakfast places in and around Portland. However, even out of all of these options, sinful kitchen has become our favorite. Excellent options and consistently great food as well as drinks. Just as importantly, wonderful staff with great attitudes and attention to their customers. Love seeing some of the same faces we have seen even as far back as 2 years ago! Just excellent all the way around and we are super excited for them to open their new spot, just a short distance away.

The food is spectacular for sure and prices are fair. That being said my party of 4 waited nearly 50 minutes for our food. While waiting, we watched at least 2 meals go from the window, straight to the garbage. I hope they can sort out their timing at the new place.

You'll find casual, cafe style vibe at this homegrown restaurant with great food! Make a reservation if you are planning to go during peak hours, even for brunch. Huge servings... my waffle came with home fries, choice of meat and real Maine syrup. My partner ordered his favorite, corned beef hash which was extra special with sweet peppers added. Service was good. We found this to be a delicious meal and totally worth leaving Old Port to enjoy on our weekend getaway.

Delicious menu with I house made sausage and locally sourced ingredients. Staff were attentive and quick. Food came out fast. Highly recommend a reservation, it is small and popular. We lucked out, but we chanced it on a Monday morning at 10am. They also have crayons and scrap paper on the tables for kids and adults to show their creative sides. And the walls are adorned with their creations. Even their tea box was adorable.

Everything here is made with love n care. It was like eating at my Grams house again. The decorations are unique and creative. The staff is friendly, funny and attentive. The home fries are excellent, bacon is delicious, waffles perfect, the French toast special was brilliant. This is our new favorite in the area. We'll be back & and be bringing friends & family.

Our experience was ruined by the manager/owner. We were seated fifteen minutes late and then our meal was delayed because the original order wasn’t correct. Meanwhile, the manager kept circling our table and glaring at us because we hadn’t finished our food. It was very uncomfortable and ruined what was otherwise a very nice meal with a very nice server. I’m sad we were made to feel this way!

Asked for overeasy, runny eggs ( love dipping my toast in the yolk )...cooked solid. Also, ordered sourdough toast. No one ( unless you go to a really good bakery ) on the East Coast, knows what " true" sourdough is. If no sourdough starter is used...it's not sourdough!!! More like Texas toast. Great service though and really good corned beef hash.

I’ve been to this place previously, and I’ve liked it a lot. However, they have gone downhill quite a bit. Aside from it taking 40 min for my omelette to come out, everything they give you is now disposable. Disposable cups, disposable plates, disposable silverware that can barely be used it’s so flimsy, individual ketchup packets, and the napkin was basically two squares of toilet paper (in both size and quality). While I do like the food, if I’m going out to a restaurant like this, I want real plates, glasses, and silverware. I don’t want to feel like I’m at McDonalds (I mean, even Denny’s uses real plates). Honestly, based on this experience I don’t think I will ever return with so many other good brunch options in the city.

So delicious. Staff was wonderful. Now I know why it's so had to get a table. The corn beef hash was amazing. Weekend huevos rancheros was also delicious. Definitely going to be eating there again. Can't wait to try other menu items.

Great gluten free options. Owned and operated by a wonderful family who are really hands on and cares about the business. Love when ever we are going out for breakfast in Portland to come to the sinful kitchen always my first choice.
