Lobster portions small. Preparation poor. Online ordering contributed to so so service. Wish we chose different restaurant.

Stopped in around 3:30pm on a Tuesday afternoon and were seated at a great outdoor patio spot in back. The ordering was explained - through QR code online or at the window and water was brought. We went with online ordering and having received some recommendations knew what we wanted. We ordered the lobster grilled cheese with red pepper Mayo and the surf & turf with jalapeño Mayo and hot relish along with the basket of fries with extra curry ketchup. For drinks we each had a beer… my husband had a Coors while I had a specialty craft beer. The food came quite quickly and looked delicious. We split the two sandwiches because we couldn’t decide and shared the fries. It was perfect for the two of us and everything was as good as we had heard and expected. The lobster grilled cheese was loaded with gooey cheese and lobster chunks on perfectly buttery toasted bread. And the surf & turf was a juicy burger with lettuce, tomato, cheese and lobster along with the hot relish and jalapeño Mayo - definitely recommended! It was so good and had the best flavor! The fries were crispy thin cut skin in and with the curry ketchup were great. We loved all we ordered and were quite satisfied with its our meals. The service was great and we decided to go home with some of the merchandise as well. Great place and best seafood variety food we have had while in Maine.

I can say with my heart that I could eat their lobster rolls everyday for a year and I would not be tired of it. Best ever. Sauces are top tier. A 10/10. -Rhonda out

tried to eat there, but after waiting patiently and watchingt hem seat other groups while I waited, found out that they wanted to seat me at the counter instead of taking up a table. If you are a single find a real resturaunt that accually appreciates you

If you're visiting Portland for the first time and looking for a delightful quick bite, Highrollers is the place to go! They serve lobster in some unique ways and the sauces are amazing! I tried the lobster roll with garlic mayo and lobster ghee and it was delicious. Due to Covid, everything is as touchless as possible. You have to order and pay online so have a card handy when visiting!

Solid place to go when in Portland, Maine. There’s plenty of seating both in and outside with hardly any wait time. The style of the menu is straightforward so you know what you’re ordering, with pictures accompanying the mobile menu ordering site. The two ways of ordering makes for a fairly efficient system (either order and pay through phone or traditional order). The food comes out at a reasonable time and was hot (what’s more to love?). Service is great just keep in mind that it isn’t your typical sit and dine restaurant with an assigned waiter. I had no complaints and will be thinking about their lobby pop until I return.

Seems like this place is going down hill in both quality and service. Oysters were great, lobster cocktail was soggy and shrimp cocktail was unimpressive. Guy who dropped of our apps was super short with us and seemed annoyed we asked for extra sauce. Lobster rolls were decent. Draft list is lit ?. If getting attitude from hipsters with side pony tails is your thing then have at it. For the money…you could eat at one of the more high end places in Portland where they value a customer.

I got the lobster taco with the cheese shell and my husband got the red hot dog. It was a 45 minute wait to eat so we opted to sit on a park bench which made it only a 20 min for takeout. My husband said his red dog was very good. Personally the color turned me off but I know that in Maine that is the type of hot dog they serve so no big deal. I had watched many videos of this place and could not wait to go. First the price for the taco was OUTRAGEOUS! It was 33.00. This is crazy when a double lobster dinner is 34.00. I do not think there was even 4 oz of lobster meat in the taco and sadly it was tasteless!! At first I thought the cheese was over powering but then I tried the meat itself and it was really tasteless. Not what one would expect from a place where a block away they are pulling lobsters off the boat. I was disappointed beyond belief. To be honest, I was going to skip it entirely but my husband insisted I get it. This is WAAAAY overpriced and not anywhere near what it should taste like. IF you go do not bother. By the way I got clarified butter on mine because I am a purist and did not want the flavor of a sauce to muddy the lobster taste....should have gotten the sauce because at least there would have been a taste.

If you’re looking for delicious lobster, this is it.Our first time in Maine and trying various rolls and lobster in itself, this was definitely a top choice. The meat was fresh and the sauces were great, especially the one with a hint of pineapple. In comparison to other places, the roll was my favorite. There is an option to order two different sizes. The lobster lobbypop is a light snack as it is a small amount of lobster meat for about $20. The prices aren’t definite as it’s sold for market value. The prices of crab meat may vary, depending on the market value. The vibe was good, and the food was great. The data made it harder out there to order via phone in the restaurant but it was a quick fix by going over to bar and ordering. Also, be ready to wait a bit before entering the restaurant as they take your number and text you when a seat is available. Will definitely be returning to this establishment when we visit again for their delicious lobster rolls and sauces!

This was the first place my boyfriend and I went to after checking into our AB&B. We got both versions of the lobby pops. He got the fried version, which was a little bit disappointing - it didn't have a lot of lobster in it but if you wanted a corndog essentially, it would be a good choice. The "naked" one was great and served perfectly. The oyster was tasty and the drinks were solid. Their jello shots aren't the best and honestly would be the only thing I wouldn't recommend. The overall atmosphere was good. The service was great and would love to visit again next time we're in Portland!
