Came here for dinner today. I had read about it a few months ago on the Food Network website. They said they're known for their coffee flavored brandy. I tried it mixed with Moxie, in a drink called the Burnt Trailer. They say it's an acquired taste. I liked it! Has the coffee flavor that coffee lovers love, and the sweetness from the moxie.And now the food. Our waitress recommended the PB and J wings and the fish and chips. Wow, those PB and J wings are amazing, and addicting! I ate them like an animal ? They also have the most generous portion of blue cheese dip that I've ever seen! The fish in the fish and chips here is Haddock, and as expected, was really good! The potatoes were awesome, they were literally shaped like chips! What a wonderful dinner and a great way to finish our stay in Maine!But I can't forget service! Service was great, our waitress was really good. She checked on us frequently and gets a thumps up for her recommendations. She also so cool that she dabbed ? That's good service!
This has the feel of a locals bar and it is. We sat at the bar and had several convos with the people around us. Great beer selection and prices. Ordered a chicken quesadilla to share and omg. The portions are huge. Didnt realize they split it for us thought they actually brought is two orders. Besides the big size had great flavor and was packed with chicken. We will be back to order more and hang out. If your in portland stop in
I absolutely love coming here! They have a lot of options on the menu so it's easy for everyone to eat. I love the burgers and nachos, they put SO much cheese on their nachos! It does have low lighting which can make it hard to read the menu for my older crowd.
Wow. Want a beer? They have over 80 on draft. Want some of the best bar food the area has to offer? They have that here. Fun atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommend the “angry bird” sandwich if you like hot chicken sammiches! Also kid friendly with a nice kids menu.
I love this place. My go to when I get a night off. Wings are freaking amazing! The Never Haddock Like This sandwich was so good! Super fresh haddock perfectly cooked. Always get the fries for a side, they are disks and nom nom. Our server was just the right amount of attentive, I wish I remembered her name cus she was super sweet! Can't wait to come back, hopefully the Crab Slab and Another Slab will be back!
Great food, friendly/funny staff and a good selection of adult beverages. The parking situation is aweful though, you'll likely have to park a little ways away on the street because the lot next to the place is very small and usually full.
Food was amazing, cooked perfectly!Friendly service.Appropriate amount of attentiveness, didn't interfere with the enjoyment of my food or conversation and yet we had all we needed promptly when we asked for it -if we didn't already have it.2nd visit, 1st was 4 years ago and both were an awesome experience!I'll return sooner next time, I had forgotten how good the food and unique atmosphere is.
