Some of the best brisket I've had. Tacos were great, cocktails are super. Smoked turkey was on point. The only reason it isn't 5 stars is the menu was space on vegetables. I love me some meat, but a couple options would be nice. Maybe I overlooked them on the menu. The outdoor spaces are fantastic. Really well done.
Amazing BBQ and soul warming pozole soup. Honestly, if you love Pozole you must try Terlingua. Grilled Mac and cheese was amazing and unique. Top notch BBQ and cocktails. Lastly, great people! Sit outside and shield yourself in tranquility.
Go get some lobster or some oysters or some pizza or literally any other meal. Our server was very hospitable and the decor was cool, but wow you just should not get BBQ in Maine. The brisket was wet like soggy meatloaf, which is not how it should be. Truly like brisket slices dredged in water before serving. I was surprised to see rave reviews about BBQ in Maine and I am even more surprised now that I see this restaurant has bamboozled people into paying $20 (!!) for two tacos! Please just get some lobster.
Terlingua is a great spot. Super fun vibe outside and the staff are all really nice and very fun. Make reservations early because it can book up on the weekends. The BBQ is pretty good. The tostada salad was incredible! They also have a great cocktail selection and over 10 beers on tap.The BBQ platter is good. The meats are all smoky. The sausage was awesome, wish we had gotten more of that. It’s a fun spot in Portland. Definitely worth the visit as you are exploring all the new/fun spots through the city.Prices are reasonable.
Terlingua is absolutely a Portland hidden gem. Tucked away in Munjoy Hill, it is a sweet escape from the hustle and bustle of the city to a quiet, quaint, colorful and relaxing outdoor (and indoor) dining experience. They’ve done an amazing job with providing lots of multi-level, three-season seating options outdoors. Their staff is kind and attentive. Their food is done well— very well. Everything we’ve had has been top notch. I cannot wait to go back for more! Stop into Terlingua if you’re looking for some great BBQ in Portland with a chill outdoor seating area!
We shared the tostada salad and the bbq plate. It was just the right amount of food. Chicken and brisket were kind of underwhelming, but everything else was great!
we walked to terlingua from Munjoy Hill for lunch and it was well worth it. we had a couple of marguerittas which were delicious. As I was eating with a vegetarian, i avoided the barbeque. we shared starters of tortilla chips , which was a generous serving, plenty for two . folowed this up with tacos. it was delicious, but not the cheapest . Our waiter was lovely and friendly and added to the experience.
Yo! This place is phenomenal!! You enter into a beautiful market. My eyes wanted to look at everything at once, I didn't know where to start. In the best way! Then the drinks and food!!? im already planning my next visit!
Wonderful service and fabulous cocktails and beer list. Loved the ranch water and local draft beers mixed in with great standards. Great margaritas and tequilas .The small meat board was fabulous ribs, brisket,pork shoulder and chicken with beans cornbread and pickled veggies and delicious pickles. We also tried the special flank steak fajitas for 2 amazing. I hope that special is on the menu often. We look forward to dining at Terlingua again soon. Our server was fantastic and enjoyed our evening .The outdoor seating is great with heat lamps. Bravo making such a great dining experience during the many challenges faced in the service industry today .
We had dinner last night and it was excellent!!! Service was wonderful, drinks were perfect and the food was amazing. Highly recommend!
