Good tasting, strange experience. The woman working couldn't have cared less about engaging in conversation with me i seemed as if an inconvenience to her. A little over the top at this point in COVID that you have to wear a mask and show your vaccination card and Id to match to prove it's you but that's their prerogative so that's fine
It was fun to taste the different wines. I really liked the rum.
Had a great time visiting Sweetgrass and doing a tasting here. I am not a gin person, but I was really impressed and ended up buying a bottle! I would absolutely recommend checking this place out of you enjoy tastings -- and they have beers, wines, gin, and rum to sample! Pro Tip: If you do the testing, you get to keep the cup as a cheap souvenir.
We had a great experience here. We went in November and so we were essentially the only customers there and the lovely hostess was amazing at describing everything in the menu. Tasting is only $5 for 4 samples and you get to keep the glass and everything on their menu is super unique and something we really hadn’t tried before. The black river Gin was absolutely outstanding and my partner walked away with her favorite —the cranberry gin.
Easy going people with great beers. Seating is inside and out. Stop by and grab a drink and chat with your friends.
I agree with a prior review. We were in Portland visiting for the afternoon with another couple. We stopped in to have a drink at the outside tables. We assumed it was a bar like the others next to it. Courtney, the manager, was unclear in explaining the mask policy and the process of ordering inside and then sitting outside. When my husband asked for clarification, she called him combative. We understand that certain policies and procedures are necessary at this time, but just explain them clearly.
Women working there was incredibly rude about their mask policy. Truly a shame I came in to pick up a handful of spirits and left with nothing.
