The coffee was okay, but a tad sour tasting and there were no indoor seats.
The woman at the counter was friendly and efficient. She got our order to us quickly and corrctly.

Got a Latta to go and one it was amazing and two even though it was in a to go container it still had the latte art on top. Nice touch ?
Fabulous little coffee spot
Just moved to the area and was looking for a coffee shop where I could work and get a good latte. Came to speckled ax after it showed up on my Google search for best coffee shops in the area. One review even said how great the wifi was. My latte was fine, and service was good, but I was really disappointed when they told me I couldn’t have my laptop out. There were two other parties sitting around talking and another man on his laptop in the corner, yet I couldn’t be on my laptop at the windows. Wish someone would’ve said something BEFORE I order and had to slam my drink so I could leave so that I was able to work. I’m pro mask and vaccines and safety, but to say no laptops in a coffee shop is absurd.
I recommend drip coffee.This cortado is sad :’(
This is amazing coffee!!! I wish I had a Speckled Axe in my hometown. Super strong and delicious! Great flavor.
We stumbled upon Speckled Ax our first day in Portland and fell in love. We ordered quite a few things but my favorites were the espresso and tonic, the bacon egg and cheese with arugula and pickled onions (must add!), and the bagel with smoked salmon. It was all amazing!! We couldn’t get enough of it. We went three times on our four day stay!
