Jusf a great evening, start to finish

Food was outstanding. Decor and ambiance as well. Service was good - timely but a little “matter-of-fact”.

We visit Portland every summer & make a point of dining at Solo. The handkerchief pasta & pesto are incredibly delicious & reportedly award-winning. And for the lactose-intolerant (me) who rarely have much of a choice for fabulous desserts, they make cannoli with sheep’s milk ricotta! Yum!

This is a stylish restaurant but sadly the food is mediocre—at best—

Food is way, way overpriced.

Solo was recommended to me from a friend, so we tried it. The portions were small and o believe were way overpriced. Service was great, and the ambiance was very good.

The food is mediocre, small portions and high prices. There are much better places in Portland, will not dine here again. I indicated to the server many of the mussels were served empty and the few in the dish had beards. Nothing done about it.

We had a great evening with other couples! The food was phenomenal as always everyone loved their dishes. Thank you Solo!

Overall very nice, would go again. Food was a bit salty (pesto pasta and the fish). Service was outstanding.
