I really enjoy the food and cocktails at Slab and have for a long while. I felt it necessary to leave a review, though, because of the pretty large and sharp plastic shard that I discovered inside one of the meatballs I ordered (circled in one of the attached pictures). The shard was about an inch long and definitely could have caused some damage had I swallowed it.

Literally the best pizza I have ever had in my life. The meatballs with the bread were also the best. I’m not sure how they make their dough and bread, but it is incredible—like super soft and pillowy. Highly recommend!

After a day of cycling by the waterfront, we very much enjoyed the vintage atmosphere and quality service and food. Our order was made quickly and our server was attentive. While this place is famous for their slab pizza, and gluten free options are limited, I quite enjoyed my salad with lime anise dressing and pickled veggies. It was a treat.

My wife and I slipped in here before a concert (03.12.22) and thought we would grab a quick dinner before a show @ Aura. We have tried their frozen pizza's from our local market with some success and figured a fresh experience would be even better. We walked in to a nearly empty restaurant and were told by the two young men standing at the counter to chose where we wanted to sit, so we did. The menu was available to scan with a QR code, and that worked just fine. After sitting quietly for a few minutes we were brought a growler of luke warm water and two small cups. They serve Pepsi products, and since we're Coke folks, my wife opted for a ginger ale and I stuck with the water. After another wait we placed an order for 2 pepperoni slices (slabs). While he helped us by taking our order he seemed as though we were disrupting his time leaning on the counter and chatting with his fellow employee. Neither were seating anyone, let alone making anyone feel welcome. While we sat there the space did fill up and become quite busy. The overall vibe of the place is cool and the rock music was nice, it had a very contemporary feel to it. A contradiction to the stone, cave like feel in the hallway and the restrooms. I loved the way that space was decorated. After a nearly 20 minute wait for 2 slices, neither piece was hot. There were however loads of tasty peperoni! The thick crust of the pizza was good but a bit dry, I found the sauce tasty but my wife thought it tasted "perfumy". We both liked the cheese flavor but she felt the quantity was a bit lacking. Personally, I think the product would be better with the sauce and cheese all the way to the edge of the pie. Now with all that said, I didn't try the other menu items and since others seem to like them so they may be amazing. The bill was 25.00 for 2 pizza "slabs" and a soda pop. Overall, the place was alright. If they had an experienced server with some personality and selling skills it would make a big difference for the customer. Perhaps we will return when we have more time to enjoy some of the other offerings.

I absolutely love ❤️ their thick Sicilian style pizza ? ! We will definitely be putting SLAB on our #1 places to revisit when in Portland. The service was sincerely friendly, the draft beer and wine menu was surely satisfying and we can hardly wait to try more of their goodness soon.

First time. Very well-balanced pie with eye appeal. no flavor overpowered another. Delicious. After Nordic skiing we called ahead and our order was ready upon arrival. 1lb pizzas or 12" thin crust. We got one White Pizza, and one Hawaiian without jalapenos, both 12", plus two order of Luna bread, a light bread with a slightly crusty outside. It can be used in many way. I buttered mine. The call taker was thorough and polite. The food was thoughtfully packaged with the boxed pizzas on a separate piece of round cardboard and two pieces of parchment and the Luna bread in its own bag. Located at a one-way street with street parking. Very appealing pizza indeed. We'll be back. Park on the street and walk.

Overall good food. The calzone did not have enough filling but that’s just my personal preference. The flavors were good. No real complaints, just nothing to rave about.

Hidden gem on Portland. Great pizza, thin or thick crust, lots of local brews. Great place, great staff.

Went in for my first Slab this afternoon for some lunch, best decision I think I’ve ever made,, best pizza in town Portland... **

Awesome Pizza! The pizza was light and doughy! I got the hand slab (cheese pizza), and it was delicious! The people were nice, and it is a great place to get some pizza in Portland!! Highly recommend!
