Pleasantly surprisedTavern environment, but tasty food with super fresh ingredients. A local gem that is off the tourist radar. My wife loved the veggie benedict and I had the banana bread French toast. Very creative.
One of the best omelettes I've had in a very long time. Highly recommend this local hidden gem for breakfast. I can't wait to try their lunch or dinner. Great service.
I used to love steak bombs but i got bitten by the lone star tick. Now i eat chicken bombs. This place has a steak bombs and chicken on the menu. They flat out refused to try to make me a chicken bomb. Plus the bartender was rude about it. Im not going there again.
This place is an absolute gem. If you like fine dining and white glove service, go somewhere else! This is an old townie haunt where every seat at the bar is full in the morning and you'll be the odd man out if you order a coffee. Food was great, service was great. We only wish we had found this place sooner!
A place you can count on.Warm, Friendly, and Charming.Good food, Drink, and people can be found here.
local pub. fantastic food and atmosphere. it's the go to spot in the west end of Portland Maine. Everybody knows your name kind of spot. Beth, at the bar, has been there 34 years. A great sunday morning brunch, but better arrive early, or expect to wait a bit while you have a cool beverage or a hot irish coffee. I personally hve visited 100's of times over several decades. I can't recommend this spot enough.
Despite Ruski being slang for Russian this place is as American as it gets. needed to add more words to beaccepted as a comment.
Such a cool little spot, atmosphere is awesome and we really enjoyed how great the staff were.Had the chicken tenders and fries which were possibly the best I have ever had with a multitude of sauces.High life bottles are always a plus!Would recommend!
Always a great place to knock back a few cold ones and a quick dinner when working in Portland. The wings are great! Neighborhood bar, not much parking, but cold beer, cool staff and just all around a nice little quaint Neighborhood bar! Thanks Ruski's! See ya next time!
Cozy little dive bar with the nicest staff and clientele. I popped in there from Boston one afternoon and had a ball for a couple of hours before jumping on the train back. I found it to be memorable and have every intention of going back when Maine is warmer again.
