great Lopster roll , cold beer and awesome Band !
Fast service. Great spot to eat outside on Portland harbor.
Delightful atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food
You place your order go to semi clean table and wait a while for your food to show up on paper plates with plastic table ware that breaks. Wine served in plastic glass, very shallow pour. Had the deep fried scallop dinner, not bad, fries not good. To top it off several people think it's cool to bring aggressive dogs to the place, German Shepard growling and barking at pit bull mix and malinois. Another pit bull looking around. Is this a restaurant or dog park? Too expensive for this side show.
So disappointed. Ate here on our last evening in Portland. Lobster roll tasted bland and watery not a patch on previous experiences. Service slow. Would not return.
Popular lobster roll spot by the port. Came here for the first time per the Internet’s recommendation, and it was good, if a bit underwhelming. The lobster rolls are market price ($26 per roll when we went) and the lobster serving was quite small for what was supposedly 4 oz. We tried splitting two lobster rolls and calamari among the 4 of us, but we were still hungry afterwards. The calamari came with a nice aioli sauce, and note that the lobster rolls come with fries.Credit cards are accepted. There are limited indoor tables as well as a heated back area with more tables. Metered street parking. There’s one gender neutral restroom by the entrance. Note there’s no National soda brands, but they do have their own in-house soda (which is between a Coke and Pepsi in terms of sweetness). They do serve alcohol. Overall, as a first-timer I can see the appeal of having a lobster roll by the water, but I would be prepared to open up your wallet for the meal.
We took our lobster from Lucky Catch to Portland Lobster to cook. Absolutely Delicious. Best lobster we've had! Quick, affordable, and nice view while eating outside. (Inside sitting options available, too.) Corn and slaw good, too.

Place was fantastic. I enjoyed the scallops immensely and my wife finished off a lobster and loved it. Would definitely recommend stopping by for a great meal. You can sit right on the waterfront looking out as you eat. What could be better? There is a store right out in front of the restaurant and they had a New England dessert known as a Whoopie pie. If you haven’t had one of these I would definitely recommend it. Best ones that I’ve ever had outside of Faneuil Hall in Boston.
I think this will become a "must have" every time we're in Portland. We came late in the season when a lot of places were closed. Everything was fresh, I don't know why that surprised me. We had lobster rolls, fried calamari, lobster stew and clam chowder. The lobster stew was my favorite. Its served in a bread bowl. Sourdough might have been better, but I struggle if that would have taken away from dish. They have craft beer, the fries were crisp and hot. I would recommend to anyone coming to Portland.
