I'm honestly not sure if I will give this place another go. The price of the pizza was about 5$ more than Otto's and similar in taste(which was quite good). The crust was real hard and crunchy though(maybe an anomaly considering the other pictures of Pizza I've seen?), so that was a bit unappealing. If the owner reads this, please update your website. I saw you had cheesecake for 5$ so I ordered that. When I got there I was told it was "worth the 10$". For one slice? Nah, I can buy 4 slices at that price from the store. I spent the money but wish I had refused it instead.I saw they had a bar and pool table. Don't know if any other pizza place with that. So there's a plus.
Stellar comes to mind, but it's better than that! The pizza is amazing, sure, with pulled pork and BBQ chicken on the pies, how can you go wrong!? This place is more than just great food though; it's a great experience. Trivia Tuesday nights, Karaoke Wednesday nights, and the prices at the bar kept me there all night. Seriously great drink deals. I sang karaoke, had two slices of world class pizza, four beers, played darts, and had a great time all for around $25. It doesn't get much better than that!
This place is ONLY good for pizza, nothing else, don’t try place order different like pasta or subs you will be disappointed !
Not safe for black people/poc. They will racially profile you and then say that you are playing the ‘race card’. Especially the bartender Nicky. They will kick out any black woman because another black woman(who looks nothing like her) got into a fight there before. Proceed with caution if you are black or a person of color. Plus the staff is drunk, very unprofessional.
I really enjoy this place. The pizza is great, crispy and good ingredients. Alcohol prices are reasonable if you want a pitcher or two of beer.
We have been there many times. The first through the seventh visit was awesome. Unfortunately, the service has gone downhill since.we are not sure why we always leave great tips. The food is awesome regardless, however, again today we had to wait 10 min for anyone to come to the table. The service like I stated has gone downhill many times now. We will not be back and I will no longer promote your establishmentThank you for the wonderful times before but no longerAmanda Johnson
Great dining experience. It's hard to impress my fiancé nothing was sent back which is usually a common occurrence no matter where we eat. Long story short I really enjoyed it and recommend it to the masses.
Prices are very reasonable. Their pizza is definitely one of favorites. Fresh ingredients and pizza sauce is seasoned perfectly. If you haven't tried their appetizer buffalo tenders, it's time to did!?
I have lived in Portland for a very long time so I have seen this building be many different restaurants. It never seems to work and they end up going out of business. I had high hopes for pizzaiolo because I've enjoyed their pizza downtown. Unfortunately the new location is underwhelming. It feels cold and un-inviting. They did nothing to make it feel like a pizza joint. The walls are still a pastel stucco from the Mexican restaurant that was there before. One section of the dining room actually appears to have patio furniture for inside dining. Prices were expensive and the food wasn't great. Caesar Salad had soft pieces of toasted bread instead of proper croutons. I guess the pizza was alright but I can think of several places that do it better. I probably won't go back unless I hear they kick it up a notch.
Great pizza? Absolutely! But what makes this place special is the quality people. My son ate dinner here and when he went to his car it wouldn't start, and these guys took care of him! That's money!!
