I order here 2-3 times a week now ?I live upstairs from this restaurant, the food is always really good and fresh. High quality ingredients and halal certified - I always feel good the next day after eating from here since it’s clearly nutrient dense food. Don’t listen to the bad reviews if there is any, trust the guy who orders here regularlyI have also seen the basement and grill area personally, have opened up all the fridges and freezers.. the ingredients are all fresh temped accordingly.I usually get the beef shawarma plate, with rice, I also opt out on the salad for double hummus on the last 2 portions on the plate. The Salad is really good too and that’s from someone who is not big on vegetables, but the hummus is so good I have to double it up ?Try this place out if you haven’t yet and enjoy Mediterranean food here in Portland ?
Clean place,fast service,delicious food
Fantastic take out spot for middle Eastern food. We will return for take away hummus. Way better than the grocery store. I loved the garlic sauce. It's near impossible to find. My husband said the grape leaf was okay and the rice was clumpy. The bread was cold but easily fixed by throwing in the oven. We will return.
Guys, there is finally good true Middle Eastern food in Portland. I feel like I haven’t been able to find good Middle Eastern since I traveled to Israel. Definitely take advantage of having this place so close by.I have had the Chicken Shawarma plate and the Beef Kebab plate. The serving size was relatively large and everything was so fresh. I cannot wait to go back again.
Excellent food. We had an assortment of appetizers and shared a falafel sandwich. Everything was fresh, extremely tasty and expertly prepared. It is more of a takeout type place, although they have a few little tables if you want to dine in. A family business with friendly and professional service. Don’t miss this delicious food.
Truly the best in town! It's definitely my new favorite and I would drive a ridiculously long time to eat there every day.Everything is excellent, fresh, portions large, prices low, and the desserts are to die for.Truly authentic and worth visiting again and again!
We sat at a sundrenched small table while we waited for our Lamb shank plates with dolmades and sambusa sides. The large shank was fork tender and sat in a healthy serving of special rice came with four possible sauces; tzatziki, what seemed to be a garlic Mayo, tahini sauce, and packets of cayenne sauce if you want some heat. The side salad was more than just lettuce and the pickled vegetables were perfectly so and had a variety of vegetables. The sambusa was packed full of a very flavorful beef stuffing with a slightly spicy finish. A fantastic lunch for a very reasonable price with leftovers.
Hello owner,As of date 2/24/2022 (two days after the incident) Price on the website is still the same ($15.99). Why are you not changing the price?Your restaurant uses Clover and I know for sure that the prices can be changed on Clover PoS within 30 seconds. In a situation where the restaurant makes a mistake, you make the customer's pay for it !!!!!!!!!Hence, I feel the people are dishonest. Background storyI ordered for to-go thinking they charge as per the prices on the website. In reality they charged me an extra $4 without even telling me. They gave an excuse saying our cost has gone up. In my theory they are making the customers pay for the card processing fee.The food is ok taste and yes it is not fresh. If they are honest and cook good food, I do not see why people won't just pay them in cash to support them.
I’m not a big fan of middle eastern food, but if you like backlava, this is the place to go for a quick dessert!! they have a bar loaded with backlava, and other “backlava-like” treats, all warm and ready to grab and go. They are phenomenal!
Just incredible! Haven't had a better falafel sandwich in my life!
