Took my daughter here for her Pre Prom Dinner. I was both her Date and a Chaperone. I am sorry I forgot the name of The Waitress, but she was amazing. She was very complimentary towards my daughter. The Food was amazing. We started with The Fried Mozzarella in Marinara. I've never had Mozzarella this tasty or Fresh. Our Side Salads were just the right size. My daughter had Linguine with Meatballs and I had Chicken Parmigiano. Not only were the portions big,but they came nice and hot. Neither of us could finish and took it with us. I do want to mention that I did not appreciate the ignorant looks the two parties were giving my daughter. They kept staring at my daughter like she was some lady of the night. She was wearing a very classy Prom Dress and conducted herself with grace and class. Unlike the two holier than thought women who glared at her when she walked by to use the ladies room. I very politely let them know it wasn't polite to stare. I want to reiterate that those ignorant patrons behavior doesn't reflect upon Maria's Staff or Atmosphere, they were amazing.

Pretty lousy experience… mussels were off, one of the entrees was about 10 minutes late, the veal in the veal parm was lousy, and the ‘chicken & broccoli Alfredo’ came without chicken. When we complained about the chicken, they took about 10 minutes to bring it to us, and we heard loud complaining about the inconvenience from the kitchen. Nothing was offered to compensate for the poor experience.

I wish I could add stars for individual aspects and menu items. We've driven by for at least 5 years driving to and from the Portland airport (PWM). Recently, timing was right for dinner. There were cars in the front lot but plenty of room without a reservation. Very Old School Italian environment.I ordered Eggplant Parmesan; recommended by our waitress. My husband ordered the Lobster, Mixed Seafood Pasta. It was WONDERFUL, especially at $30 because the price of lobster has soared recently. My serving of Eggplant Parm on the other hand was SPOILED, sour, moldy tasting, unpleasant. The waitress and I had a bit of an "explanation" back and forth. It took a bit of convincing but she took it into the kitchen. She came back with a new plate of Eggplant Parm. She did not offer me a substitute dish, the EP just showed up. Luckily, it was wonderful ?. She was very kind but no one from the management offered us an explanation or apology. We will consider returning when in the Jetport area. But we live in the mid-Coast region and won't likely make a special trip. Although, that Lobster Pasta might just change our minds.

Hi; just wanted to say my wife and I were there on Saturday 5/28/22 it was our thirty ninth wedding anniversary so we decided to go to Maria’s for dinner my wife’s dinner was chicken parmigiana which she said was good I had chicken Marsala which was not so good,it sure did not look like the picture on this site it didn’t have any mushrooms and the sauce was just a brown gravy, the plate looked like it was just thrown together,I don’t think we will be back anytime soon.

Wow! We hadn't been to Maria's until last night. We were still missing Espo's and hadn't been able to bring ourselves to returning to a different owner. We were overwhelmed with the taste, portions, and excellent service. Nice little demi-salad with bread and roasted garlic olive oil. The main courses were delightful, and the portions were huge.We just enjoyed the leftovers for lunch. Cannot say enough positive things. We will be back, and soon! ??

If you don't mind spending $51.00 for 3 personal size pizza's......this is the place ! Not to mention rude owner ! Incase the pictures aren't clear....8 inch each...1 cheese...1 pepperoni...1 sausage and peppers

We loved the authentic Italian food. Greg and Anthony the owners are very involved with the experience and make you feel like you are eating at your Italian mothers dinner table with every course. I can’t wait to go back!!

Servers were beyond wonderful. Unfortunately, the owner is enough to make me take my business elsewhere. Very rude encounter.

When you’re dying for authentic Italian food and it was good but not at all what you were hoping for. The bread was ice cold, served with the dirty napkin in the basket, the carbonation was not working in their drinks and if you don’t drink liquor you were stuck with water or lemonade. My dinner was lukewarm and Elle didn’t finish hers which is strange because clam linguini is her favorite. The waitress was either too busy to wait on us or overwhelmed but either way we didn’t get very good service. Disappointed, but I guess it’s what your accustomed too. This place gets great local reviews… not sure why.

Always GREAT Italian food. I could eat there every day. Prices and quality are right inline. The owners and the staff are very attentive to make sure everything is the best they can do. Consistent ,Quality and pricing...you cannot go wrong.
