The widely varied food landscape in Brunswick has a new direction for travelers on the culinary map. The Garlic Lovers delicious, amply stuffed arepa was fantastic! Everything looks just great. Can't wait to eat through the menu here. We'll be back asap.

Wonderful food! Everything was made with super fresh ingredients and you could tell, it was delicious! Be sure to try some of their sauces, we liked every sauce we tried. Good little beer selection, including gluten free beers. The entire restaurant is gluten free, I have celiac disease and this put me at ease eating here! We look forward to returning.
Delicious! I thought it was just going to be overhyped because it was vegan and celiac friendly, but it was actually awesome. Flavourful! Great service. Great prices.
The Veg Overload is a really yummy vegan option. I wish there was a larger vegan offering.
We tried this for lunch today, splitting a pork arepa, assuming that because it was $12, it would probably feed two of us. It did, and could have fed a third person. We ordered it with the garlic sauce, which was not at all subtle, but we love garlic, so that was good. The pork was a tiny bit dry, but very tasty. The arepa itself was good, with a nice corn flavor, and sturdy enough to hold itself together when stuffed with an almost-obscene amount of pork. I wish we could comment on more of the items on the menu, but we'll be back, and update this post.
Every time I travel to Portland I visit Maiz. They are celiac safe and have the best food in town! They have gluten free beer, great polar seltzer and other beverage selections. I have had every arepa on the menu. This is the perfect place to grab a quick bite to eat or take something to go. The customer service and care they give their customers is unmatched.
I've never had an arepa before, and what I will say is that it's the only thing I ate that day because they don't skimp on anything.The subtle corn flavor comes through perfectly with the seasoned pork and chicken, and their sauces are flavorful. Incredibly reasonably priced as well.
We have almost tried everything on the menu and everything is absolutely delicious. Great service, fresh food, the ingredients are cared for with love and you can taste it. The best empanadas!!!
