Pleasant place to visit. Large Verrarities of options, but possibly too confusing?Maybe you can decideSome options are better than the others, couldn't tell you the name of the dishes now but the one I ordered was "great!" And the one my friend got was an "eh". So be wise about what to add to your order.
Absolutely love this place great family recipes. The only negative thing I can say is there portions are really small and I am not a big eater I always order double the portions. With that said want some of the best noods and dumplings in Portland eat at Mainely Noods!!???
Broth, dumplings, and vegetable are great! If you love noods like I do, then you know their prices are great! If you can’t decide if you should try this place or not, this IS your sign to do it. You won’t be disappointed.
Holy cow! Amazing ramen! Loved how I can order one of their predesigned bowls, or design your own. 100% best ramen in Portland. My only regret is it took me so long to visit.
Went in because they said they had gluten free options but all the noodles are cooked in the same water is definitely not safe for someone who is celiac as I am
This is one of the many newer eateries that have popped up all over during the last few years of Portland’s continuing gentrification. New places everywhere. Pretty cheap, with modt bowls about $15. A stylish and modern but casual ambience. Order at the counter and then take your food to your seat. I was impressed with my first visit and will return again for takeout. The girls working here are always so friendly, too. Located downtown on Congress Street, this is a short walk from the Old Port. Not in the Old Port itself for all the tourists reading this
Very fair priced noodle shop! Everything was tasty, but miso broth was a little too salty and the curry broth was really thick so I couldn’t really finish it. The noodles were cooked well (not too soggy not too al dente). My favorite was actually the sesame noodles, but I wish there was more sauce. After a few bites, it was just like eating plain ramen so we put it in our remaining broth. The boiled egg isn’t soft boiled and when we added bokchoy, we only got ONE that was cut in half. As a tourist, I probably wouldn’t come back but if I worked around here, this would be a quick and good lunch spot.
Seen this months ago but never got around to eating here. But now it's my favorite place in Portland. If you just want quick, satisfying, nothing fancy, but taste amazing, this is the place. I ordered the Hong Kong and loved it. Also ordered the Seoul to go. Got home, and ate that too. Will be coming back here.
Holy moly. I got the nooods signature dish. I am drinking the sauce right now. I am in awe. Just moved to the area and will soon be an addict. Thanks Mainely Noods!
they only had one vegan bowl, which i thought was pretty bland. adding soy sauce helped but just not much flavor. my husband got the nooods bowl and loved it. id be willing to try again, just wish the vegan broth had more flavor/spices.
