On traveling assignment, so a co-worker and I went based on another's recommendations. The ambience which was outside on the balcony with a view of the river, as well as, service (I wish I remembered her name) to food was amazing. I ordered the truffle fries, duck wings (spicy, but a good spicy and not overbearing), two drinks which were the frozen blueberry lemonade and the Queen of coin.

A really nice spot with some great potential. We went up top to try and enjoy the beautiful view a few times. They have a cozy indoor area and outdoor area as well for taking in the views. Unfortunately they keep the doors wide open as a convenience to the staff for walking in and out with drinks and food. We left once due to the cold, next time we came we sat inside in a corner and watched 6 couples leave stating it was just too cold to stay. The staff here should pay attention to their guests more and realize people sitting inside aren’t looking to endure the outdoor temps in the evening. Big Miss.

Great views, ambiance & cocktails!

It's hard to give a bar a 1 star review when I never had a drink or had food but then again, the front-of-house staff prevented that from happening. As a party of 3, my friends and I could not be seated outside because they only had 2 person tables available. The hostess said she would seat us inside but when we asked if a larger table opened outside we could be moved and the hostess in a rude tone explained we would have to close out our tab and then go back to the hostess stand for a new table. The hostess also added that we were "only allowed to be up here for an hour and a half." We sat down inside and as we waited for someone to serve us, we witnessed a four person table open up and another couple that was already seated outside, ask their server if they could be moved to this new open table. And sure enough, they were moved despite having drinks and food already. They did not close out their tab.Meanwhile as my friends and I were still waiting for a server to take our order, I took in the atmosphere and realized 'nah, this place isn't worth it.' This is a place for tourists and not Mainers. We left and visited another bar instead of sticking it out. I understand, as a former hostess and waitress, how hard it is to work in the restaurant business, let alone a short staffed one, but kindness goes a long way. And being told we were "allowed: a specific time limit was super unwelcoming and unfriendly. There are way better places in Portland to chill outside.

I think many of the five star reviews are from paid reviewers. We had the old fashioned with a premium bourbon and it was good but no where near a famous restaurant just down the way on fore street. Our biggest disappointment was the food: bland tasteless fried. My wife called the chicken dish “chainsaw chicken”. So tough and dry. Our waiter was nice enough to take it back but the mezzue plate was a collection of dry fried falafel. Even the shrimp and polenta was boring, bland and in need of SOMETHING to make it worth any price. The decor is chic and on a cool, not cold night, the outdoor fire pit could be great for a small group. The indoors fireplace is mostly for atmosphere and not heat. Sound reduction was average. On a nice summer night, it could be a worthy stop on a cocktail hopping adventure but stop elsewhere if you get hungry.

The rooftop top is Nice and the bar has beautiful modern decor. I ordered a charcuterie, it was good (only the prosciutto wasn't fresh enough for a place like that).

First time here. GREAT atmosphere, and their drinks are really delicious. The food was good too. However, this place is pricey! Be prepared to spend quite a bit.

Pretty setting, but it's crowded and expensive. The specialty cocktails are worth the price, but everything else is marked up. My sister and I were there two nights in a row. Everyone is friendly but service was a little hit and miss. We tried to order food which never came, but we also never got billed for it. Might be worth checking out on a non weekend night.

Gorgeous decor inside, plus beautiful outdoor space with firepits and water views! Tried a couple of the apps and they were delicious. Tasty drink options.

What a great find in downtown Portland. This place has about the best atmosphere of any bar area that I have been to in the area. The location is the stand out for this bar, as the rooftop view of the water is great, even at night. They also have great decor, modern tables, and plenty of lounge areas to relax and catch up with friends. They also had a very good food menu to choose from. If you go here I would highly recommend sitting outside, no matter the time of year. In the winter they have plenty of heaters and fire pits everywhere to keep you warm! I look forward to returning soon.
