Lovely restaurant with friendly and attentive service. Mussels were exquisite, fresh and perfectly cooked. As expected, the lobster roll was delicious and the crispy but soft centered French fries were the perfect accompaniment. Will definitely return whenever in Portland.
Amazing food
Food was outstanding! We had Burata salad, risotto and clam chowder, and halibut. Best risotto every!
Chris is a very good server and we enjoyed sitting outside under an umbrella. A busy restaurant. A good HH with a few selections. The food here is really good, creative, attractive presentations and good value in Portland these days. (prices everywhere rather high). The calamari is light in a tasty sauce, very nice bang island mussels dish, yummy crab cakes. Must try the unusual panisse. All round good job from the kitchen.
Great spot for dinner with colleagues! Food is exceptionally elevated, but also approachable for all guests. The 14 Maine brews on tap make tasting and trying local styles fun. They even offer beer flights. Friendly and personable staff along with a cozy interior makes this establishment a true neighborhood gem. A don't miss while in Portland!
Little Tap House is our go-to neighborhood restaurant. Get the halibut!
We live locally and had wanted to try Little Tap House for awhile. We had reservations for 7 and wanted to sit outside, 4 tables open. We were told our table was already set up inside for us. They donât take reservations for outside after 5:30 so they werenât reserved but okay. Server seemed stressed, probably understaffed, we ordered apps and drinks but was told we had to order our entrées at the same time. Seemed strange but okay. Limited entrée selections but we all choose fish and chips. Apps and drinks were very good but none of us cared for the entrée. We all took most of the breading off, very thick, to enjoy the fish. Maybe sitting at the bar and just getting apps and drinks if we return.
Food was excellent and so was the service. Enjoyed happy hour too great wine!
Location is hectic on a corner of very busy streets but it added to the cute Maine city bistro style seating outside. (Watch out for the gulls...yikes!!!) Great food! Staff was so friendly!!! Prices were appropriate for setting and atmosphere. Will definitely go back.
