We bought seafood back home to CT after staying the weekend in Maine. We barbecued the lobster, Scallops and shrimp! So delicious! Will definitely go back next time we visit Maine!Prices were also very reasonable.
These guys are pro's -- I wanted to take a couple of pounds of Lobster meat back to Austin, and for 10 bucks they expertly packed a small lined carry-on that allowed me room for an additional 6lbs of fresh Haddock, half fillets and half chowder fish. After I got home, 24 hours later, I added ice every day and the whole load lasted the entire week. Amazing!
Visited the Fish Market today for the first time. I've read wonderful things about this place. I was very excited to visit and purchased good quality seafood. My husband and I waited for our turn to be helped, we were third in line. When it was our time to be helped we were completely ignored by the staff, the gentleman behind us was asked for his ordered. While we waited there been ignored. We have no doubt of the quality of the seafood, unfortunately we will never go there again. We purchased our seafood at a different location. This particular place may had less reviews and popularity, but they were very attentive and helpful.
The employees are very helpful. The fish is the freshest you'll EVER get! Whenever we're going to Portland, we stock up on our fish from here. Whenever I have to buy fish in our supermarkets, it is NEVER this fresh
One of the best brunches I ever had. Well beyond good service as well. Fair prices. Good coffee too. Lots of great menu choices. Pulled pork omelette was tasty!!
I went to the Scarborough location and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I bought the steamers and they were the best clams I’ve ever had!
If you'd like to experience Maine's best example of how a Fish Market is operated, go there! It is Authentic Maine at its best.
Cool place for your fishery needs. Fresh fish, crabs lobster, scallops the list goes on. Would recommend buying also you can order and have it shipped too.
Always a great place and my only place to get my fresh fish/shellfish. On my last visit I got the sushi grade yellowfin tuna and dry boat scallops for making Maki sushi rolls. Everything is always the best quality! I highly recommend Harbor Fish Market!! With leftover tuna and scallops I just grilled up for a snack.
Great spot for local seafood. A lot of businesses source their seafood from here.
