What a great find in the heart of Portland. I can’t say how much we enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and friendly staff. We shared the Spicy Green Leaves Salad, which could’ve been a meal in itself. I had the Steamed Vegetables with Peanut Sauce. The main entrée had broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, zucchini, corn, snow peas, carrots, green beans and steamed tofu. The quality and quantity was excellent. Highly recommended!

Truly one of the best gourmet Thai restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. Their curry puffs are to die for, perfectly cooked on the inside, crispy on the outside and loaded with flavor. Comes with a brilliant sweet n spicy sauce. Perfect as an appetizer and as desert. The service is nothing short of awesome.
Food good. The Pad Thai shocked me to my core. The VEGAN chocolate tart dessert was so good I wanted to cry. Their house brewed tea was amazing. I wish these people all the best.
I honestly was not excited to try this place out. We had some vegetarian friends visiting us. I am a 'grill it' kind of guy. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried the Veggie Spare Ribs. I didn't realize that you could lock in so much flavor in a vegetarian meal. This place is a true winner.
Great vegetarian fare, friendly prompt service, what more to like? Well it’s directly opposite the Portland State Theatre so it is the go to place for a pre show dinner.
Eat here! The whole menu is just amazing and the price completely reasonable. We had dumplings, pineapple rice with peanut sauce and soy fingers indiscernible from chicken, and the Burmese tofu curry special. Crisp local beers and lovely waitstaff sealed the deal.
This Maryland vegan was happy to be a 10 minute walk from Green Elephant while briefly staying in Portland to visit Maine Law. Delicious tempura shrooms and veg dumplings. Loved the Thai iced tea with soy cream!
