Absolutely delicious! Haven't had such tasty Gelato since Spain. Will be an annual stop for us.
Took my family here after dinner at the Highroller Lobster Company and it was definitely worth it. The gelato is so rich and reminded me of my favorite gelateria in Italy. I tried their cannolis and signature "Gorgeous" flavor and I was in heaven! They also have other desserts like brownies and sorbets.
Found this place by accident walking around. Had both pistachio and Expresso coffee gelato. Delicious tasting. Reminded me of Venice.

Really frustrated and bummed about my experience here tonight. Walked in to order while one customer was heading to the register to pay and another customer was starting their large order of 4 multi-flavor cups. I was the third of only three customers in the entire place. Two young men were working, one checked the woman out while the other waited on the large order. I stood patiently, behind the man ordering, in between the ice cream window and the pastry window. The man with the large order had broken English and the employee helping him was visibly annoyed, asking him multiple times to repeat himself with large eyes and a disgruntled look. It didn’t sit well with me, but he did later thank the man for repeating himself and cited the freezer noise as reasoning. While waiting my turn, a large group of 6 or 8 people entered and stood next to, but not behind me, between the ice cream counter and the door. It is a very small space, and I was the only person waiting before they entered. I was sure both of the employees saw me as I had been waiting ~5-10 minutes, was the next to order, and had made eye contact with both. Nevertheless, I was never acknowledged. When the employee checking out the woman returned to the counter, I stepped forward to order but he looked directly to the first person in the large group and took her order. I didn’t correct him, which is my own fault, but I thought it would just be a minute longer while the other employee cashed out the man with the large order. To my shock and dismay, when he walked back toward the counter, he completely ignored me and helped the next person in the large group. I was so frustrated, I walked straight out the door. Poor customer service and overall bad experience.
Really tasty gelato, we tried hazelnut, gorgeous and rum chocolate. Not the same light texture as my last visits but I would definitely try again as it was the end of the day.
The ice cream here is so scrumptious delicious! Creamy and flavorful, just like I used to get it growing up in Europe. The best of all is that I can get the real pistachio, hazelnut or mango, that typical US ice cream makers tend to ignore or fail to produce.
Truly one of the best desserts I've had during my trip to Portland. If you don't stop by here at least once during your trip, you're missing out! The gelato is rich, creamy, and absolutely amazing!!
I travelled to Maine with the help of my mother (so allergic to milk and soy that she could be taken down with a singular slap to the face with a weird edamame extra cheese pizza slice), father (Omnivore that was probably trying to eat that pizza, and myself (a vegan with a peanut allergy that is morally opposed to the pizza in general.) After dinner I experienced the usual craving for chocolate and the blood of my enemies, so went with the former and got gelato. Now this gelato will not blow your mind in terms of flavour selection, BUT it will be safe for those with allergies. I was very worried that I was going to accidentally murder my mother as the vegan flavours were alongside the regular dairy flavours in the same display case. HOWEVER, she was completely fine, so props for lack of cross contamination. I thought the rum chocolate was very chocolatey, but not very rumey, though I can't say I've ever had rum folks. My mom thought that the flavour was 10/10 creamy, delicious, and doesn't know 'why we even need cows. . . except for pets.' My dad ordered the espresso and loved it! 9.5/10, for my father who doesn't like sweet stuff thats high!!! Apparently very good coffee flavour. All in all very unexpected food allergy win, huzzah.
We found this spot by chance and fell in love with their delicious gelato. Visited 3 times in 2 days……The best gelato I’ve tasted.
