Great spicy salami sandwich and super friendly server! Ok, so there's not really "servers" here, but if you sit at the bar she'll chat you up. :) Recommend!
Who doesn’t love Pizza night! Their chicory salad was absolutely delicious! The parm dressing cut the bitterness of the greens, seeds and crushed croutons lended a welcome crunchy texture, nutty and buttery flavors! Excellent selections of wines and nonalcoholic drinks. Pizza well balanced with toppings. I was prepared with my vax card but I wasn’t asked for it so perhaps they let this policy go. (No complaints lol) I’m looking forward to coming back to try their regular menu!
This is a great little place for something light. They have a wonderful cheese plate, and a good selection of reasonably priced wine. We did both dine in and take out.
I walked in the door and the hostess asked me if I had my vax card on me. They didn't have a sign on their door saying they needed a vax card and I don't carry mine on me, but I asked if a photo would work. I then looked through my photo albums, my email, and couldn't find it. The hostess went to go talk to a table of tourists that were extremely drunk.After a few minutes of scrounging for the photo, a woman without a mask (an employee I think) walked right past me into the back. I decided that between the loud drunk tourists, the strict vax policy for guests, the lenient mask policy for employees, and the lack of communication about what guests needed to provide, that Friends & Family was probably not the place for me. I wish them the best.
This should be a go-to if you're looking for a wine bar or somewhere to grab a bite in Portland. Feels equal parts hip and lived in. I always find something to love on the menu.
