Cute donut shop with novel flavors and the freshest possible donuts. They're made to order! Service time is very fast since the donuts are small bite-sized ones that come in six packs.Don't be intimidated by the requirement to order by the half-dozen. A box of six is about equivalent in food to 1-1.5 regular donuts, but are much more shareable. So order all the amazing flavors! We got 3 boxes and shared them between two normal-sized people.The coffee was spot on, though certainly not the star of the experience.

10/10! The employees are so nice and the donuts were amazing. I love the bite sized idea. Just the right amount to be able to try each flavor without being overwhelmed to finish a huge donut. Im from out of town and I wish they have an Eighty 8 donuts in Mass or RI!
Eighty 8 Donuts is such a unique place for your favorite breakfast treat. The decor is retro, service is great, and the bite sized donuts are delicious. Do yourself a favor and stop in next time your downtown. Fun fact- the boxes came with 6 donuts, but I needed to taste test prior to reviewing. ?
We were delighted to discover this donut shop. We love the decor! The service was great and the donuts are even better. We don't get donut shop T-shirts very often, but we couldn't resist the one that they offer here, it's very clever. We will be back on our next visit to Portland.
THE best donuts I have ever had, bar none. The donuts are fairly small, but they pack a big punch. We got a six pack of the 007 - "Maple dipped, topped with bourbon cream and candied bacon". I wish I lived closer. Or maybe not, because it would be dangerous. ?
Friendly, fast, and delicious! Donuts are small - like the size of a tea cake, 6 for $8 and you can only get one kind in a box of six.

100% DELICIOUS!!! We had the fruity pebbles and the cookies and cream donuts. So the way they work is the small box (shown in pic) they can only make 2 of a kind and not a mixture of each one. The hot chocolate was a bit watered down but still good. The setup of the shop is cute.
Loooove this place! The donuts are made fresh to order and are all hand dipped. It's not your typical cake donut at all as it has a nice crisp crunchiness from being freshly fried when you bite into it and then a great soft interior. All the toppings are very flavorful as well!
