Worked in the area for last week and we stopped here 2 times so far. The fried chicken was the best I've had around here and the gyro was excellent as well. Would recommend
For a chicken spot, the dining area was large and clean. The food was great, the service even better. Hardworking crew. The elder gentleman working was one of the most hospitable and kind restaurant workers I have ever witnessed. If you are in the Portland, Maine area- do stop by and show some love.
I ate so much chicken I puked. 8/10 would do again. The menu is highly chaotic however, so it is hard to tell how much you're going to have to pay for food. It's not an egregious difference, but a few things are in two different places at different prices.
Great customer service and food. I have been there often, they are consistent so you know what to expect when you bite into their very yummy chicken.
Great food, perfect place for those late night hours.
Amazing Hidden Gem!!! Chicken is so good, best around!!! Hours are so convenient for late night folks. The cook is always very nice and working hard. My friends and I love having a late dinner there!
I stop here as often as I can. Food is great. Staff is very friendly. Always ready quickly and always hot and fresh. My absolute favorite fried chicken in Portland.
PLEASE change your name to something other than the one on St. John St. It's confusing at best if you are not related to each other. I ordered online thinking it was the Forest Ave. location only to find it was the St. John St. location, and when I realized what happened I could not cancel my online order. I have no idea why there are two locations with the same menu but different qualities of food and service but it would be very good if you had different names to avoid confusion for your customers.
This is a perfect spot to get a tasty authentic meal that will fill you up! Don't miss it! Late night or for lunch! Either one will satisfy!
This place should be condemned. Workers don't speak English, wear gloves or wash their hands. The backroom floor is covered in a layer of filth and grease with open tubs of chicken left uncovered in the sink.
