came here before 3 so was only able to order off limited menu but what I got was delicious! Will definitely come back next time after 3 for the full menu to get their congee and bun cha.
This hip little spot serves Vietnamese food with a twist. While their menu is small, their dishes pack a big flavorful punch. When we visited, it was takeout only. We got the chicken pho, Mom's fried rice, and Bún chả. Those dishes were delicious. I especially enjoyed the pho and fried rice. Give this place a shot!
Terrible experience, food average but expensive. The website is super confusing and although it says its transitioning to a daytime cafe, we could only get takeout. Disappointing as we came from far away. Half of the menu was unavailable and we received incorrect order. Server at counter was unfriendly. Not sure what the NYT was alluding to with their recommendation.
Great place for Vietnamese food. Stopped in after seeing it on the NYT list of restaurants to try, and it did not disappoint. They were out of alot if menu items and there was very limited seating, but the food was fantastic. Would definitely stop in again next time I'm in Portland!
Very, very good. The NYT was right. The spice level was perfect, the umami-ness was perfect, the menu is compact in a good way. Best fried rice I’ve had in years.
This is not how Pho should taste like!I kinda feel bad to give them 1 star. However,For Pho: this is not Pho, not only they didn’t have option for beef, which is the traditional Pho option, the broth wasn’t warm enough and had almost zero flavor but salt. The noodle was stiff and dry.For Vietnamese coffee: I understand if it’s not good! It still should not be that bland. For the price: this is an expensive place. I wouldn’t mind it if the food was good! I understand that businesses are struggling but I kinda disappointed with the food quality.
The first time we ate here, pre-pandemic, we had the spiciest, hottest meal i can remember! But we were hooked
Great flavors and quality.. They just need to be careful on portions to save money. Customers will notice. Just bought 2 of thier yogurt cups for $8 each. They used to fill the cups all the way up which was fair. Now only a half a cup for the same price? Love thier pho. I hope it comes back full time.
First time trying vietnamese congee and fried bread.
My favorite place to get noodles in Portland. It’s hard to express how sad I am that this place is closing for dinner, I’ll have less opportunity to enjoy it.
