I went to Butcher Burger with my family and it was the best burger I’ve ever had!! There are two locations, and I have been to the one in Bethel before, but I have never tried the one in Portland! When I walked in there was a wait, which the bartender said was normal on account of how busy they are, but I was seated quickly and had an amazing chat with the very friendly bartender. I ordered the bacon and bacon and I have to say it was the best burger I’ve ever had in my life (and I have had a lot of burgers) there’s something for everyone there, like my mom is vegan and she had an amazing salad! There was a delicious sauce called block sauce and when I asked the bartender what it was and they said it was a mystery which makes it all more delicious!! It is sort of pricey, but 1000% worth it!! I wish I could rate it 20 stars but that’s not possible. It is a must eat!!!!!!!!!
this is probably my fifth time eating here this month! The first time I went I sat inside, and the bartender was so nice! he made sure I had whatever I needed! The second time I sat outside on the new deck with a great view of the up lower side of Portland and the water! all of The servers were really nice, and delivered our food quickly! I ordered the big bird with extra jalapeños and because I’m gluten-free I got gluten-free bread, which tasted just like regular bread! I am seriously not lying!! It’s delicious! I wish I could eat there on a daily basis!!!
First time here and definitely will not be the last. Fresh, quality ingredients accompanied by amazing service and a great outdoor seating area make this a 10/10 burger joint.
I loved the Texas burger it was an amazing combination of flavors. I'm a texture guy so this burger on a crusty bread would be my ultimate, but the soft bun was properly grilled and super fresh. The fries were nicely cooked, but next time I would go with unsalted rather than the Salt and Vinegar. All told I'm going back for sure.
This is a great place to get your lobster fix satisfied! I came in with my two adult children on our fourth day traveling around Southern Maine and realized I hadn't had any lobster yet. They took care of that and boy was it good! Lots of choices of how you want your lobster roll. I hope to come back and try the other varieties because they all come with fries that are out of this world. The staff was explaining how it takes 3 days to make a batch of fries and they've got it down to perfection! Nicest way to end our day in Portland. Lovely little city and really nice people there.
Such a great, quick service joint! Super friendly and helpful staff, great ambience and music. Got the hot lobster roll and it’s to die for. The fries are outta this world! Super diverse menu that will suit all eaters. Definitely stop in during your next trip in Portland
Came in for lunch with a buddy. Sat at the bar facing the TV, but didn't watch it because we had a great conversation with the waiter. The food is awesome. I had the lobster grilled cheese with salt&vinegar fries <
I had the crispy fish sandwich. It was delicious, good portioned, and cooked to perfection. The fries were great with the Spicy sauce they include. Bravo
Great atmosphere. The bartender was great and always ready to help have a good conversation.Food is great!Everyone should try the crispy lobster roll.
My wife and I just finished eating here. Ordered a Texas Burger and my wife ordered the Maine Lobster Roll along with Oxbow beer on tap. This place is a hidden gem. Everything from the food to the service was amazing. I’m still craving their fries. Highly recommend.
