Great, authentic Asian cuisine! Plates are large enough to share or eat on your own. I would recommend trying a number of dishes and sharing so you can try all the wonderful things!! I hear it is usually busy and sometimes hard to get in, but I think we lucked out as there were plenty of open tables. The service is quick and pleasant. I would highly recommend Bao Bao!
Came after work with a few coworkers and it was just what we were looking for. Think we tried everything on the menu basically. The dumplings are great prefer the steamed ones but all were excellent. I will pass on the crab rangoon next time just because not much flavor and overcooked a bit. Will definitely be going back for more. But the hot teas, wine and cocktails were all excellent.

I love the ambiance and the food is excellent!
Pretentious, precious and catering to the “beautiful people”. The owner seems to have done everything she can to turn-off her once loyal customers; from trying to implement forced tips to preaching all sorts of rules and policies around and after the primary COVID outbreak. Have a question? The darlings here leave a smug vocally-fry message on their voicemail saying they “don’t answer phone calls during “service” “. We loved coming here for the first couple of years but the smug became just too difficult to ignore. Now I just wish they’d leave my once friendly, eclectic town. The restaurant and its media thirsty owner(s) would be much more at home in Boston, New York or, preferably far-away San Francisco.
So good! Such care. Simple food prepared with great and subtle expertise. The slaw is the best raw/cold dish I have ever had. The dumplings were exceptional. But what stole the show for me were the sauces that the slaw, dumplings and noodles were dressed with. Perfectly balanced, seasoned and apportioned for the dishes they dressed. Particularity the one for the beef dumplings. Perfect.
The staff is so warm and inviting. It is Covid conscious and deli style ordering. The food is brought out as it's ready and it is delicious! The lamb skewers are phenomenal and the bok choy in oyster sauce is a must.
Always wanted to try did not disappoint. Went in for a meal before a concert luckily there were seats. Had a bounty of diffrent dumplings with a group of 4. The atmosphere was laid back the whole place buzzed something nice. Loved the hand painted decor. The drinks were pricey but what you got was amazing. I was with someone who had an apple, peach, anything fun fruit allergy we really wanted to share a scorpion bowl though. Not only did they accommodate we went back for seconds. I don't know what the dish was called but the sticky rice with Chinese sausage and chimichurre dish was out of this world. So glad the hype matched the place loved it.
8/10: small portions, pretty small menu, many similar flavors, but everything is very high quality. This was during the pandemic, so maybe they had problems getting ingredients like many other restaurants. Overall good, fun, and trendy.
Went for a quick dinner. Spent about 45 mins there and was well worth it. We had the slaw which was outstanding and a few orders of the dumplings. So flavorful. The ordering is a little annoying as you have go up to the counter every time you want something, even a drink if your at the bar. Small inconvenience tor an outstanding meal.
