Came for the $5 margaritas (they don't skimp!), stayed for the fried pickles, friendly staff and laid back atmosphere. Taking a look at the menu, wondering about that lobster roll and blueberry pie everyone is raving about. Big room in the back with a pool table and unpretentious people eating and conversing.
Came here as part Maine Foodie Tours. John the owner does an amazing job. He came out and told us all about the beer we were tasting. The fish tacos were out of this world!!! John goes right to the pier to buy local fish sometimes multiple times a day to make sure it is fresh. The place was much bigger than I expected. If you are in Portland this is a hidden gem that you must stop and check out!!!
Fun spot! It was quiet while we were there, although downtown was a hoppin! Got a reservation but definitely didn't need it. Beers were awesome, and food was delicious but a bit pricey. (Decent lobster roll, but $30 is a lot for the portion.)
Amazing food and attentive staff. Seafood is locally sourced and homemade items. We had Fish tacos, mac&cheese with lobster, haddock, clam chowder and amazing pie made with Maine blueberries. They also have a pool table in a back room. Definitely worth a visit.
Such a great little dive bar. Great food, drinks, live music and bartender. Collin was the best and treated us like locals. Sad we have to leave!
Linds, John, and Tanya were great!Linds was our waitress, and she was fun and personable. She was quick with recommendations.We ordered fish and chips, chicken tenders, Mac n cheese, and nachos. (Writing that, we sound like we're Children... haha) Everything was great, but nachos weren't up to par, so we let Linds know. She immediately talked with her boss. John, the owner, came over quickly to rectify the situation. He was great! He made sure we weren't still hungry. The service was amazing. Because of how sweet and kind and caring he was, I'd come back in a heartbeat! Thank you for the experience here. I love the pool table and live music. Such a nice vibe here. Thanks so much guys!

We were all visiting from out-of-state for a bachelorette party, and felt lucky to find this hidden gem of old port! Ever since our ladies brunch at Andy’s pub, any time I am back in Portland, this is where I go for their extensive draft list, delicious food, friendly and fun atmosphere, and soccer on the TVs! Win win all around!

I've lived here for 7 years and had heard about what a great place Andy's was the whole time. I've been a few times in the last few months and it is just everything I want in a local bar. Can't believe it took me this long to figure it out.
