The reviews are all over the place, so let me leave an honest one. We got chicken fingers, beef teriyaki, beef rice, pork rice. The chicken fingers were good but the way they are packaged they can get soggy quickly so you are best to just leave it open on your way home, the beef rice and pork rice were similar, good, the beef was actually cooked and tasted fresh as opposed to the weird stuff other people serve that is questionable, the rice came with the meat and some good veggies. The beef teriyaki is not my style, flavor is good but it was on the dryer side, other people like that its just not my taste but it was still good. Sue, the little lady running around was hustling to get everyone their food as quick as she could and she was super pleasant to deal with. Price is a little high but that’s everyone right now, not just them.
They told us 15 minutes and we waited 45, the food was decent though.
These people don't honor the repeat customer. They scam your price . There price is random. Tax city !!! Food is 50/50 depending on their mood. Kitchen is tainted. Bottom feeders delight! Buy your message b4 u order! Prices double at random!!! St8 garbaggg

UPDATE: just got home and ate the food and it tasted as bad as the rest of the experience was in total. completely and totally disappointed and poorer by $50
I went there last night and was shocked by the price increases. I understand small yearly increases but your D1. Combo went from $11.95 to $15.50! The C19 went from $9.95 to $12.95. 3 combos and an appetizer was $58. The food was good however, this is a huge price increase to receive the same amount of food. You charge for all of your duck sauces. All other chinese restaurants give at least a small cup or 2 for free. It is disappointing because their general tsos chicken is great.
I have been coming to golden city since I was a little girl. It is my FAVORITE Chinese food place, and I’ve tried TONS. The owners are so friendly and the food is delicious! Highly recommend the lo mein, chicken fingers, spare ribs, and beef teriyaki! Can’t forget about the amazing fried rice either. I’ll be a customer as long as they decide to remain in business :-)
The BEST Chinese place in-town. The food is always consistently delish, with big portions for cheap, and the delivery is quick!! Very authentic Chinese food

I remember the food there was good but horrible now. We ordered last night and it was disgusting. Everything was greasy I don’t think they changed the oil for weeks and burned…. the ribs fried dumplings burned….. the pork inside the dumplings were BLACK looked like crap….. we threw everything out after taking a bite of some shrimp egg foo young and chicken wing and finger which I spit out…… that was enough and I was sick during the night! The place was filthy in the cooking area. We will never ever go back I can find better places to give my 40 some dollars to. Lesson learned!!
I once loved Golden City, hadn’t had any for a couple years, decided to get some yesterday and I threw out my entire $27 overly priced meal! Teriyaki steak and ribs were dry, there was nothing to the chicken fingers, the rice was pasty and the fried wontons were thick and almost felt and tasted stale!!
