Sandwich was just two thin strips of roast beef hiding the fact that it was full of onions. Felt like a practical joke that I paid almost 10 dollars for. Just because something has been made this way "for over 90 years" doesn't mean it's good. 90 years ago we were in the Great Depression and let me tell you, this sandwich sure invokes that time in the worst way possible.
The best Italian Sandwich shop anywhere. Nobody makes a better Italian than the Coffee Pot.
I do apologize how ever the coffee pot sandwich I had today was not the same coffee pot sandwich I have gotten in the pastThe roll was packed with onions with very little to no green pepper and very little to no crushed red pepper. I received 2 half slices of salami 2 half slices of cheese it was disgusting and I can assure you that is not a coffee pot I looked back in pictures I had a coffee pot full of meat and cheese with appropriate amount of onions and green pepper . .
As a kid I always got sandwiches from skip best sandwiches but not now the past few times the onions are so overwhelming thats all u taste is called and they said order half the onions..it should be automatic bu she said they are generous on onions who wants to eat that much onion... not us. Also my husband got a ham n cheese with mayo only they charged if he was buying deluxe wow expensive

Last visit to Coffee Pot Sandwich Shop!!!!!! My large coffee pot sandwich had one and a half slices of the cheapest salami on the market today. It had one slice of cheese cut into thirds .It had a little less then a half a cup of onions . Then three 1/8 inch slices of tomatoes cut into halves and crushed red pepper and 5 slices of pickle including 20 tiny pieces of green pepper.I will share my experience with everyone.
Very relaxed atmosphere, has some old Hollywood decor, and staff is always very nice! Sandwiches were bomb like usual
Went in looking for a sandwich little did I know it was gonna be the best sandwich I've had in years and the price was amazing, staff was real nice. We joined the rewards thing they got!!! Will definitely be going back each time we go to bangor we'll worth the stop...

First time here loved this little gem of a resteraunt I've heard of Coffee Pot before when they were located on State Street in Bangor, Maine delicious food awesome staff courteous great job I highly recommend Coffee Pot Cafe on Broadway in Beautiful Bangor, Maine.
