Some of the best pizza in the state of Maine! Great service from friendly staff that are eager to serve with a smile. I would have given 5 stars but they didn't have hot sauce to go.
The crusts on all six large pizzas today were hard as rocks and tasted stale. Barely any pizza sauce under the cheese.The subs there are terrible as well.The prices are much higher than what one would pay for far, far higher quality food in Boston or any other urban center
Haven't been there in years..stopped today for cheese sticks and a sandwich.....very very good..ty..l would not give a good rating to cleaniness and safety in these Covid times..
Ordered steak bombs ??? order was perfect, subs were great! Lady who took order over the phone was nice, polite, and understanding, as had some special accommodations for my sub and they did great!! Will definitely go back ??......only downfall was my husband found a black hair or dark brown hair in one of his steak bombs.. but other than that like I said it was good overall
Terrible quality on our ham subs!!!!! Too many onions too many pickles, two slices of ham on a large, three half slices of tomato and no lettuce!!!!!! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!!!
The food here is fine, not the best but also not bad. What holds it back is the lack of any seating area, or decoration of any form. It could really thrive if only it had a seating area and a interior designer.
Staff was friendly, food was delicious, prices were fabulous. They even brought our pizza out when the window was too full of people ordering more pizza. Very nice!

I've been ordering from Poppa Gambinos since moving to Bangor. They have the best pizza in Bangor - on Saturday. For some reason, the pizzas on evrery onther night of the week are and overpriced compared to other options. But the reason I'm giving them one star is that I've generally had the same delivery guy for maybe the last few times I've ordered. I usually tip $5 assuming that there was no tip included. I happened to ask if it was last night, and the guy definitivelly said 'no'. When I looked at the receipt later, there was a $3.50 delivery charge included. Admittedly, this technically doesn't say 'tip', but that it's a fee for the delivery. So essentially I've been tipping $8 or $9 a pizza all this time. I think this pig is a thief, I will never order from them again, and I plan to advertise to everyone and everywhere what a rip-off Poppa Gambinos is ...
We ordered 5 subs and they were amazing. The veggie subs were packed with cheese and vegetables and the hot subs were amazing!
