Was my best hibachi experience so far!
Beautiful design and atmosphere. Friendly staff. Chef was fun and made everyone laugh. Hibachi grill had some inconsistencies and food was ok. Some chicken was over cooked and no sauce where some was perfect. A little heavy handed on some seasoning which I actually prefer versus no seasoning. The bao buns were a bit doughy in places. For sushi we got a Godzilla roll which was very good. Server did not come back for more drinks. Blinds on windows behind us were extremely dusty and dirty.
Great food !! Excellent service !! Our waiter Josh went above and beyond for me with making sure everything I got was indeed gluten free !! Thank you Josh you made my it easy for me to eat there !
We celebrated 3 birthdays among 16 of us. Jackie was the chef and was very skillful and entertaining. He really made the special day even more special. We come here at least once a year to celebrate birthdays.
The food was amazing, our cook did an excellent job!! The atmosphere was great. We will be back
Took my 9 year old son for his first hibachi experience. He loved it!! Chef was great!!! It’s entertainment while you dine.. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Simply amazing! From the minute I arrived, Brett (my server) made me feel so welcome and was so helpful as I hadn't ordered in a Japanese restaurant before. The food was out of this world good, everything tasted delicious and the chefs passion and attention to detail paid off! There was a little too much however - no issues though as I was offered a box to bring the rest back to my hotel ?I can't recommend this place highly enough ???
I went to dinner last night with friends for the first time in months. I ordered tofu pad Thai as always expecting to enjoy my food. I was disappointed when I noticed I didn’t have much tofu, just 5 small pieces the sauce was also less flavorful and runnier than normal. It’s sad that the quality and quantity has gone down while the prices have remained the same/gone up.
We were VERY disappointed with this visit. The wait staff was miserable. He was the definition of slow. Hen he finally arrived, he asked, “whatcha want?” We gave our orders. No questions about drinks or any hint of a welcome. We were waiting. And waiting. When he reappeared with beverages for others seated near us, we asked if he was going to get us drinks. Argumentatively, he responded that we hadn’t made any order when he asked. When our drinks arrived, he pushed them at us showing attitude. The cook was friendly and did his thing cooking the food on the stove, but after he left, we were released back into the charge of the grouch. It was a battle from then on through the end of the meal. That night was a cold night in February. The restaurant was very cold. Not just chilly, but cold. It was uncomfortably cold. The waiter probably didn’t understand our request that the heat be turned up, or more likely, didn’t care. This place was more fun when they opened. The staff was excellent. They got a great rating. We will probably give them a few years before going back. It’s not really Japanese food, so there are better places for that. If they’re still around in 2024 or 2025, we’ll see if they’ve trained or fired the jerks.
Everything is awesome. Food and preparation show was great
