I don't live in Bangor anymore but I try to visit whenever I'm here. I've been coming here for decades. They were one of the first restaurants to allow peanut shells on the floor. They no longer do this. The inside has changed very little but it's clean and quaint. It's a great place to gather to watch a game or just to celebrate. They have had the same staff FOREVER! There's a hostess who has worked there since I was a teenager (at least close). That says a lot about the people who run it. The drinks aren't weak and the food is always good.
Service was good but did not have a lot of things on the menu. One in particular was an all you can eat ribs that was advertised but they didn't have any ribs which is why we went. We then ordered burgers, was asked how we wanted them cooked, we said medium but got them well done with burnt places on the burger. At this time I would not recommend this place to anyone
First time ever going and my friends and i had the WORST service ever. Our meals came after a long wait. I asked my waitress for ranch the minute my meal came out and i did not get it (mind you she came back to ask if everything was good but no ranch). My friends waited about 30 mins for their drinks to be refilled. I ended up asking for ranch again and she acted like that was the first time i asked for it. She got our checks wrong when she knew our checks were separate . my friend ended up paying for two of the orders (one of the orders was mine and the other was hers). mine bill was 42 while my friends was 22 (that was wrong) and i had the rest of the bill which had my friends other order. also our waitress had only TWO tables … mine and another. terrible terrible service. never going back and you shouldn’t either!!!!
Staff was slow to get to arriving guests, but was very attentive to everyone once they ordered. Had a great steak burrito!!
Do not sit in the lounge waited 30 minutes to even order my food. Got food an hour later. Food was cold and seemed like it was sitting for awhile. In the end they took one of the orders off the bill. Server was nice about everything.
Charging a dollar per seat!!! I don’t think so. By being greedy and trying to get 4. You lost out on 80-100!!!!!!!!! And that ls just my family let alone the whole group I was with. Peace out
awsome customer service, and the Food is Delish. highly recommend the baked Haddick and the Salmon Dinners. theor salids are magnificent and everything hit the spot.
Stayed in the Quality Inn next door for 2 nights. We do this 2 to 3 time a year. Had dinner there both nights. Although the meals were good, they were not as superior as they have been in the past. The reason I gave them a 5 is because I feel customer service more than made up for it!
We got the sliders and Chicken Bacon Mac & Cheese. Those sliders were the best I've ever had and the sauce that comes with them is very unique (in the best way). The mac & cheese was also very tasty, and the portion was huge. Still upset that I forgot my leftovers on the table.
This place is a classic sports bar/ dining area. Only one side of the place is kid friendly, but the staff is always nice every time I go in to eat. I'm unsure of any vegetarian options, but I know they have salads.
