Great food and great service!
We had eaten here a couple of times, 3-4 years ago, and found the food to be very tasty and interesting. This past week we excitedly tried it again expecting the same and were so disappointed. The restaurant was comfortable and service was fine but starting with the cocktails through to the entrees I found the flavors to be extremely bland or over done depending on the entree. The basil cosmo tasted like fruit juice, the lamb pops were heavy on the mustard, and the chicken parm was absolutely boring and tasteless. The accompanied portion of pasta way too big. The Caesar salad had no taste and the croutons rock hard. On a positive note the grilled pear salad was enjoyed. I hope this restaurant can find its footing again.
This restaurant deserves negative stars. Bad service. Slow. Undercooked lamb. Lackluster, tasteless salads. Strange, spicy duck pasta. I don’t have enough words to describe how awful this place was. Extremely disappointing.
The food was delicious and drinks were strong!
We decided to try this out since it was one of the top rated restaurants in Bangor. Dont get us wrong its not bad, but not worth the price. The food is bland and just mediocre. Some was overcooked, some just not seasoned, some tough. If that is one of the best restaurantsin Bangor don't go to Bangor. The reviews were excellent, so not sure if these people have ever had exceptional food. Now onto the good, service was excellent. Staff was friendly and location was good. Wish we could have loved it.
The food is always so good and the service is wonderful! We love the elk chowder, and pork chop! We go here for any special occasion! It is our favorite restaurant in Bangor.

Came here for an early dinner. It's well staffed, running smoothly. The menu has plenty of options for everyone. I sat at the bar where I enjoyed a lovely glass of wine and the scallop pasta dish, which was incredible. Very well portioned, would make a great meal if you have a big appetite or leave plenty of leftovers if you don't. Upscale casual setting, very comfortable.
Came here for dinner on a Friday night. As they don't reserve tables we got here early enough (5.15pm) so we didn't have to wait for a table. Inside it was a comfortable casual but upscale downtown restaurant. Our server Maddie was very attentive and our food came quickly. I have to note that their Bruschetta is served on toasted pita with grated Parmesan was excellent. I'm usually not a fan of Bruschetta but once it came out I had to try it. The best dish we had was the Sea Scallops which were cooked perfectly.
Our favorite spot for date night! The atmosphere and service is always great! Great drinks and even better food. Doc’s dish is my FAVE. Definitely worth the trip!
