I went in at the last minute yesterday hoping to pick up a lobster roll for my husband. Seeing how full the parking lot was, I was prepared for a wait. Not at all! Fast and pleasant service all the way around. My compliments to the 3 people working Fathers Day, you handled your orders and your customers with above average service. I have grown used to hearing staff grumbling how busy they are, forgetting the customers keep them in business. Very impressed how you all handled what was a very busy day. Thank you! PS, Lobster Roll and chowder were awesome!
We were in town to see family and popped in to Mac's for a lunch. The food was delicious. Seafood offered a variety of ways but also options for the non-seafood crowd.The cheesecake was phenomenal, as well, but hands down the best part of the place was the employees. They were awesome.
Lobster roll and clam chowder were good. 2 of the 3 staff were nice. Young girl has a tude and needs an adjustment. Assuming owners daughter since she isn't a person to work with the public.
Ate here for lunch on 3-26-22... Had the best lobster roll (clearmeat), the best fried clams and the best clam chowder I've had since leaving Cape Cod 3yrs ago...rite at this little establishment!!! Glad I stopped in! These guys are doing it righteous! Cudos to chef and staff. Be back soon!!!
I was very impressed by the quality and the serving size after reading reviews. Ordered clams and haddock, and had more than enough!

Definitely not the best meal. Ordered the scallops and shrimp. Questioned the cook on whether I received what i ordered. Pretty much blew me off. The girl was great unfortunately the cook was horrible in customer service and the food was extremely salty and way undercooked. KP has our vote. Praying we don't get sick.
Been here a couple of times now and I love the food and love the people and the environment. This is one of the best seafood shacks around.
I loved Macs seafood but the reviews are correct the food has changed I understand increases in cost but the seafood servings are decreased a combo plate of scallop and clams gave me second thoughts. I was asked about sweet potato fries which I said yes too I expected them to replace the regular fries . The regular fries which filled 3/4 of the plate were soggy and droopy , the sweet potato fries also were soggy as well. The seafood was okay but not crispy and not much lofty it. Even the coleslaw had a funny taste. The saving grace is that the young people doing th servicing were pleasant. Please dont go by the prices listed here as it is always 3 to 4 dollars more. I'm sorry to guys I will go back perhaps for the fresh seafood and make my own
This place is amazing! Their selection of fresh sides is awesome, stuffed mushrooms looked amazing and I'm definitely going back for them.I placed a huge order and they quickly began to bread all the fresh seafood and fry it right in front of me!It tasted amazing. Can't say FRESH enough!Place was very clean and staff was nice and happy.Will make a trip to go back there.
