I ordered pick up for my family. I went in the staff was very nice. I had a slight problem with the size of one of the meals and they took care of me right there and I left very satisfied. We will eat here again. I am very sad they took the short rib (not the Mac and cheese) meal off the menu. I frequently ordered it. But that's ok.
This was not a good experience and not what I'm used to from the 99 restaurant chain. We waited for a seat, which was fine, though they weren't very busy. I asked our server three times for a glass of water, which i never got. I asked for a rare burger and was given a well-done burger. The meal came with hardly any fries. The buffalo mac n' cheese was overcooked. We won't be going back to this restaurant.
Service was fine. Appetizers also good. Main courses were not so good. Three people in our group ordered the sirloin steak dinner. One was ordered medium well, one medium, and one medium rare. All were under cooked. The medium well clearly came medium. The medium was medium rare and the medium rare was raw and cold in the middle. One person ordered baked haddock. The topping on the haddock was skimpy and burnt.
Ordered online and waited outside after they came out and took my payment. And waited and waited and waited- they told me someone would bring food out to my car. It NEVER came. 35 minutes later I walk in and the hostess looks at me like I have two heads when I say I’ve been waiting outside for my food that’s right there. With my name on it. Says white car. Cold on the shelf. Get home and that is right - it’s cold and I’m missing the loaded baked potato I paid extra for. I don’t normally write any review but this experience was so bad I had to come put it out there somewhere. Just terrible attention to the customer.
Been coming since I was 5. Family favorite for years. Last couple years it had gone down hill for food. Appetizers are a no brainer no to get missed up. Order steak, pork or chicken, you'll be in for a surprise. I ordered a 18oz T-Bone Steak ...asked for medium. I got rare with zero seasoning. The broccoli was rawr, only flavor on the plate was the mushroom in the rice pilaf. Sucks to see this after going here for many years. Wouldn't recommend coming here for anything but Appetizers and drinks. Staff was friendly and apologetic. Hence not being 1 star. Hope this helps.
Just went tere for a birthday lunch. Arrived about 2:00 intentionally to avoid the crowds. The food was okay, although the servings were pretty small. But the service was marginal at best. Everybody else was being served popcorm as soon as they were seated, which I thought was standard offering. We weren't offered any until after the waiter took our orders for drinks, brought them, and came back for food orders. And then I had to ask for them. The waiter said they would be right out and then was seen lounging in the back for a while. When he came to take another table's orders, bringing them popcorn in the process, I reminded him again and he grudgingly brought some after another delay. By the time we got the popcorn we were well into our meal. We frankly didn't care about it, especially at that late date, but it was the principle of the thing. Ordered a first course of seafood chowder which was actually quite good if a bit heavy on the potato, but realized after he had left it that we had no napkins or silverware. Finally got his attention and were again told grudgingly that he would bring some, whiich he did after another delay. Won't be back any time soon.
Decent menu, great portions. For what it is, the food is good, they have a full bar. Have eaten there several times now.
The steak tips had good flavor a little salty and tough. Potato was ok with country gravy kinda bland. No salad no bread a little bowl of pop corn. I will not go running back
Good food at a decent price. Nice friendly service. My wife had the fish tacos. ( I had one of hers) And I had the French Onion Soup.
The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. They were very attentive and made sure we had what we needed.
