I went to Popeyes on Thomas Rd. West Monroe, on 5/28/2022. I walked through the drive thru due to the location being closed to inside customer service which I do not understand. I walked through because my wife and child was in drive thru at taco bell. I ordered a number 8 which is a 5 PC mild tender they was very good, however the lady at the window was by far the rudest I have met at a drive thru window. She was aggravated i guess due to me walking because they refuse to open the inside and every other restaurant in town is open. I then ordered a an apple pie to which she stated" oh I need to keep my cool", I was thinking keep cool for what hell I'm a customer paying your salary. I'm just curious is it a requirement to hire the rudest people you can find to work the window because Popeyes on 165 South also has a rude individual on the window. I think you all need to regroup fire some employees and possibly managers if this is how your customer service is going to be. I recommend giving whomever is the manager at Popeyes on Louisville a promotion and make her a district manager what she has is working and she has very friendly, willing to help staff, with an open dining room.
Popeyes in West Monroe, La on Thomas Road is s absolutely the most pathetic excuse for a fast food restaurant ever. Today May 21, 2022 we went through the drive through bc my grandson wanted 4 chicken legs. We were asked to pull up and wait bc they only had one mild and 3 spicy ones. They said it would be a 12 minutes wait. After sitting about 9 minutes a guy came out and said it should be about four more minutes. We kept sitting and waiting and after waiting for THIRTY FIVE MINUTES, my daughter went inside and no one would even acknowledge her and after about 5 more minutes my daughter said I've been waiting 35 minutes for 4 chicken legs. Just as I said they sold the legs we were waiting on to every other car that came through the drive through. They all had an attitude and told her they didn't know what we were waiting on. Sad thing is, this was right when they opened up and this is NOT the first time this has happened at this POPEYES. I don't know who the owners is but you need to find better employees that actually want to work and do their jobs without having an attitude when expect your order in a decent amount of time! Every one in that store needs to be fired!
Long time spent waiting in the drive thru, one order was taken at the speaker and then filled at the window before the next order was taken. Not very efficient. 8 piece family meal had 1 breast and 1 wing with the rest thighs and legs. The food was good but not worth the wait. Drive thru was the only option for ordering.
I have been calling for 2 hours and keep getting hung up on. Got the wrong order completely. I ordered a 14 piece with 2 large sides mac an mash with 7 biscuits for $29 and I paid for someone's $45.00 order and recieved there order. Had my kids with me so of course got all the way home before I checked anything. Couldn't eat any of it because it was spicy and had to cook my kids a quick meal so they could get to bed.
We are from Massachusetts and wanted to stop in at a Popeyes before we left state… bad idea… We are now hooked on it and won’t be able to get it again unless we come down south! This one in particular had the most friendly- on point staff and food for sure! Waffle House, dud. Sonics, okay. Popeyes, AMAZING!!!
Like all Popeyes, if it's fresh it's awesome. This location is always very busy, annoyingly busy. ***check your order!!!!!***They mess up my order all the time! Everything was correct during this particular visit.
This was ridiculously crazy. It took over an hour to get our order taken in Drive thru. Their $6 box is not clearly signed so as we discovered there were many question to ask or they rang a higher price box. After waiting so long the box did not include a liquid. The chicken was cold. They only had one Mac n Cheese, the replacement fries were cold. It was a really bad night for the employees, the inside was closed, cars wrapped around building and occupied the street, I felt bad, it looked like they were short staff also. No napkins etc. Horrible night.
Popeyes is a great place to get fried chicken period. They have a 11 piece meal for a great price and is perfect for our family of 3. It was busy at 3pm but the drive thru went in a timely manner and I could see KFC while in line and they only had a couple of customers the whole time I was in line. This means Popeyes has the better chicken...
Even though there is no sign saying that the lobby is closed the woman rudely informed me that they only do drive-through. She then said “the door is locked” even though I had clearly just walked through it. There was another person inside because they messed up her order. No one inside was wearing a mask and everything seemed extremely chaotic and messy. Obviously decided to go elsewhere.
(READ THE WHOLE REVIEW. COULD'VE BEEN AN OFF DAY.) Forgot our biscuit and some of our food was cold. The nuggets were very "biscuity" like the breading was made of dough or they weren't cooked right. The biscuits were hard. The bone-in, spicy chicken was delicious, as was the sandwich. The employees were very nice and fast with the service. Will give it another try to see if it's better.
