My eggs were very bland the hash brown casserole was cold and I asked the waiter to have my steak cooked well and told her to the point that it cold be burnt (There red juices coming from the steak). This was my first time to have ever eaten at Cracker Barrel and I believe it will be my last. I was very disappointed after so many people told how could all the food was at Cracker Barrel. The staff was very polite and I loved the gift shop.
Wait was long but not bad as we did some shopping and talking to other customers. Breaksfast was great, came pretty fast, waitress was great even as busy as she was. it was Father's Day.
The Big issue I had was the fact they had packed everyone in the center of the restaurant. Kept people out of the other dining rooms. Plus service was ok however their soda was flat even after we had told them and brought out another one which was flat as well. Wasn't too impressed by them. When we go out as a family it's every 9 weeks so I wanted something special. This was not it.
10 minutes for server to take our order and one entire section of the restaurant was empty. After 45 minutes order was not correct
I would have given this place one star but the waitress's were excellent. The biscuits were burnt, the food was substandard. I was told they had a new cook and he wasn't that great. We waited almost two hours to be seated. It appeared that they were understaffed because there were many empty tables the entire time we were there. I felt bad for the waitresses because they bore the brunt of the complaints due to the quality of the food. I am not sure what the problem is, but I would not go there until its fixed.
Has gone downhill staffing wise. The food, well if you have ever been you know the food but since 2020 mismanagement and low staffing has made not just each experience slow but at times feeling completely ignored by servers.... Not all are bad there are some very good servers but with anything it's the luck of the draw... And if you happen to have bad luck your experience will suffer. I encourage the company to invest in management training and addressing whatever needed to be able to staff appropriately.
Good breakfast but not staffed to handle crowds. We were seated immediately but never told they were understaffed in the kitchen. Waited close to an hour for our food.
Food is good. They have been out of a couple things the last few times I've been there and the new waiters don't have the drive that the one have with experience. I saw they also don't listen to good advice from their peers
