At.lunch, I ordered the small blackened catfish with a side of vegetable medley.The catfish was greasy and the salad lettuce was brown.Won’t be back.
I arrived here on Tuesday, March 15th at about 6:45 pm and they were closed. Their info page on Google Maps said they were open, but for unknown reasons... they were not. I work in the area from time to time and my experience with finding restaraunts in Louisiana has always been hit or miss. Maybe they're open, maybe not. Maybe they're under construction. Maybe they need to be under construction, but they're not and just sitting there not operating and decaying on the side of the road... like roadkill. Maybe they wanted to just close early.Maybe I'll get to try this place one day. ??♂️

Absolutely terrible!!! Old fryer oil I could smell before I could see. Once I could see my Seafood platter, it got worse. Shrimp, oysters, fish were hard and chewey as they were fried 4× longer than necessary. When I approached the GM, Sally or Cassie (something like that) I couldn't even finish my sentence without interpretation of an argumentative and condensing manner. I even asked to speak outside to keep my complaints from other guests. There are much better options in Thibodaux for the same price. KEEP AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!!

Beaning stuck in Louisiana after Hurricane Ida one of the best things is Griffin's, I was lucky to get a room at the motel across the street after noticing that nothing was open or deliver.The only worth mentioning restaurant was Griffin's. They were truly a lifesaver. I think I had everything on the menu (3weeks) and everything was exceptional, one of the best platters I've ever tasted was the becon wrapped shrimp, But yet their catfish was to die for, their hamburger stake was on point, their loaded potato was the best.Truly one of the best places in Louisiana and that's from somebody coming from Texas.
