I believe this was the first Waffle House (WH) in Slidell, LA. In my opinion& people close to me is, this WH location has the best breakfast/cooks. Of course I'd never say no to anyone offering WH, If I had 1st choice of WH to dine -in at this is my 1st pick. & A little recommendation to tryDef. have to try the All-star breakfast anytime of day is never a bad option. Don't forget to try it sub'd w/ scrambled cheese eggs, and raisin toast w/ apple butter ( gotta ask 'em for the apple butter& ask for extra ?). Also try pecans in your waffle I ask for mine to come out when my meal is over so it's nice -n- hot when I am ready for it. ??
Poor inventory management and customer service.The last thing any customer wants to hear is that a food establishment is out of food.After waiting to order and the server/ host clearly ignoring my existence, I realized I left my card in the car. I got my card and went back inside and the server/host was telling the next guest all the items they were out of." No sausage ,ham, bacon, steaks, etc."Don't make guest wait for things you don't have, or maybe it was just me she didn't want to serve.

I watched them cook my food because after I was seated and looked around the place was nasty! As many as workers was there in the kitchen someone should of had a dang broom and a cleaning rag because it was so bad crap all over the floor, cabinets had food piled up on it, the waffle irons had a mountain of dough spilled over, it all showed a lack of pride on the whole staff. Lock the door clean the place up!
This waffle house has very very poor management the manager has not bothered to have the phone line fixed they do not take phone orders and have not in over six months people who live practically down the street from this waffle house has to go to another exit to pick phone in food orders because this manager is too lazy to call corporate and tell them their phone line is down to please send a repair guy they would rather be lazy and not take phone orders which is what they’ve done for six months
They really need to have better management when it comes to cleaning up. Not only did we have to kill a roach underneath us the floors had trash all around the restaurant as if they haven’t swept. The discounted our bill by $4 for the roach and after we killed it they left it there. When we left it was still there.
The worst biscuits and gravy ever to be placed in front of me. The biscuits tasted like oven cleaner and the sausage was raw thru out the patty. Not a good breakfast after church. I blame it on lack of supervision and a lack of caring. No ramifications for a poor job and no rewards for a job well done. That's management! Too many places in Slidell to get a good breakfast to deal with this garbage!
Very kind staff but the place was filthy. I decided not to order. The parking lot is clean and spacious thou. Happy Birthday Isa!!!
Literally every time I come to this Waffle House, there’s two people working, and they aren’t busy at all. I ask for the same thing every time, a double angus burger, and hash browns. Not one time have they given me what I asked for. I don’t think it’s that hard, I’m a very lenient person. But if you’re ordering for pickup and you’re in a rush, don’t bother with this location.
Clean nice friendly people got the order right. Food was cooked to perfection
