Enjoyed it very much. Chargrilled oysters are very good. Gumbos are very tasty without being over spiced. Place is a bit out of the way, but well worth it. Lake front view from outdoor dining area is very nice.

Excellent seafood restaurant! The Cheese biscuits were a hit with our group. Whole fried stuff flounder is a site to behold. The grilled trout in lemon butter was spot on. A side of baked Mac and cheese was very good. Very crowded on weekends but easier to get into on lunch during weekdays. If you not familiar with the area, definitely use a GPS to make locating them easier.
Would not recommend. Fried Fish was not cooked all the way threw and grilled shrimp tasted strongly of chemicals (bleach like) We were not able to finish our meal. Shrimp actually made me very sick. Informed waiter who's only response was ill let them know in the back and nothing was ever said or done anything about it.
VERY DISAPPOINTED in the serving size of the seafood platters.. My husband and i visited the Slidell location and ordered the shrimp and catfish platter, because everything else we wanted was sold out and it was only 1pm “go figure ?” . When we received our platters we were both disappointed in the amount of food, on both of our plates.. The platters literally had 5 shrimp each , 2 very small strips of catfish along with 2 hush puppies and a slice of lemon. The platters looked like they were prepared for toddlers, with adult prices “$20.99”.. i only gave 2 stars because our appetizers were very good.. but if you’re hungry, don’t waste your time coming to this location, because i guarantee you’ll leave just as hungry.
The food was excellent. Nice ambiance as you can see the water from most seats. Dishes ordered: char grilled oysters, shrimp poboy and Caesar salad with fried oysters. Appreciated that the oysters were a nice size.
Always quality local seafood and great service.
Couldn’t wait to go and eat fresh boiled crabs & crawfish but out of luck no crabs and our lunch at 1 still no boiled crawfish. Ok let’s try oysters. While good $32 for 1 dozen chargrilled oysters. Really?? Dragos who made this dish first - menu states dozen is $19.95. Over priced seafood in a city that needs local’s to support our restaurants. Blue Crab is over charging our tourist and locals will stop recommending and not eating there. Too bad
