It was a very busy place, but we were seated quickly. Our server was at our table within minutes to take our drink and appetizer orders. Martini's and onion rings. Drinks arrived quickly and were very good. Onion rings a few minutes later, hot and crunchy. The dipping sauce is VERY horseradish forward, so be warned. I liked it, but it was too strong for my wife. Our entree was the seafood platter for two with coleslaw and chicken & sausage gumbo. Lots of shrimp, oysters, and fish on the platter, and two small softshell crabs. All cooked perfectly, but all pretty small. The coleslaw was excellent, as was the dark roux gumbo which was chock full of sausage. All in all a great visit, and we are looking forward to returning.

Great local place definitely worth checking out. My first time visit was a very good experience. Gabby was a great server. The seafood gumbo and the Bonfouca French dip sandwich were delicious.
Had brunch on 5/22. Country Fried Steak and Eggs are some of the best anywhere. Good grits and white gravy. Instead of a Bloody Mary, try a Bloody Maria for a good pick me up. Friendly servers and good service. Also, we have had takeout several times in last few months. It's excellent, that's why we keep coming back!!!
Had to go solo because hubby not feeling feeling well. To my waitress this was no problem & she sat me at a small table. Irish Canal is exceptional. Crawfish balls appetizer moist & flavorful. My waitress bagged up my leftovers as well as meal for hubby. Great food; great service!! This is where the locals eat!!
Excellent cordon Blu and mesquite chicken. Want to try the smoked tuna dip. Peaux boys are superb! Great Cajun food with good bar pub options too. Full bar

Stop in! We had 5 happy people and 3 were teens! All of our food was great and our server was amazing too. Glad we drove out of NOLA to find a muffaletta.
